How Accepted helped me get accepted

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

I applied to 7 top US MBA programs last year, interviewed at 5, and, IMO, I didn't bomb any interview except one. I don't know what happened, but I didn't manage even a Wait-list, let alone an acceptance. I turned to Jennifer (referred to me by a trusted adviser) for a ding analysis on a couple of applications to get some insights on what went wrong. Jennifer's reviews were sharp, and provided me with a starting point on how the Admissions Committee views applicants. It set the tone for a period of self-reflection I later went into.

I decided to apply to Columbia ASAP, but I faced a major roadblock - I didn't know how to represent my candidature as a re-applicant. I turned to Jennifer again, and she really helped me re-align my goals and think about ways I could draft a strong re-applicant essay. Not only did she provide accurate reviews, but also enabled me to draft better essays (answering the "why" and "how" rather than just the "what"). I think this helped me turn around my CBS application this time.

In essence, I enjoyed working with Jennifer - got to learn a whole lot of tips and tricks of writing stellar essays. I would highly recommend taking Jennifer's help in b-school applications. And, having said all of that, Jennifer provided the best insights in the shortest time-frame possible (I took Accepted's hourly services, and for the number of hours I purchased, I don't think any admissions consulting firm can provide as much as Jennifer did).

Having said that, when I look back, I realize what turned it around for me at CBS - Jennifer's recommendation on why I should write the optional essay. :)

Cheers!

Best EMBA Essay Editing

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by school email address [?]

I choose accepted by seeing their reviews and the experience of editing experts. I am lucky to have Cindy as my editor. She have a great knowledge as what EMBA essay demands by school. She reviewed my draft version of essay and provided me elaborated comments on my essay and guided me as to where the necessary changes are required. She responded to my emails on time and the entire editing work was done on time and within agreed budget. The best part is I got selected by the school of my choice in round 1 and definitely would like to say that Cindy's suggestions was well appreciated.

Highly recommended EMBA essay/resume editing

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by school email address [?]

I worked with Accepted.com after getting quotes and free "reviews" from a few other services. I found Accepted.com to make the most economic sense to me and also the most pleasant to work with. The staff was friendly and the process was clear. I worked with Jen who was AWESOME! I had a tight timeline for my 5 applications. Jen worked with me to prioritize what I needed to do and provided clear comments on where and how I should improve my essay and resume. I was accepted to all the schools I applied to and know that Jen's advice had a lot to do with that!

Michelle Stockman - MBA Admissions Consulting

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

Michelle helped me with both my application and interview prep. It was obvious to me from the start that Michelle is a real expert in this area. She has tremendous experience and knows exactly what it takes to get into business school.
Michelle is extremely efficient and gets an impressive amount done in a given time frame and so whilst admissions consulting is not a cheap commitment I still felt like I was getting full value for money. I previously worked with another well known MBA consulting company and was left extremely disappointed by their lack of professionalism. What impressed me most was the experience and proven track record of each of the consultants in Accepted. I got admitted to Columbia and I couldn't have done it without Michelle. I highly recommend Michelle!

Success Against All Odds

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by membership [?]

I worked with Natalie from accepted. I had a very weak GPA, 2.48, but a good GMAT, 720. With Natalie's help, I applied to the McCombs Evening MBA program and I was accepted! She helped me through the entire process: fixing my GPA, what I should do during my school visit, the essays, and of course the interview process. She is very understanding and incredibly helpful. She has an immense amount of admissions process knowledge and knew how to apply to my candidacy. To anyone who wants to have the best shot at getting into his or her dream school, work with Natalie; she is the best!

EMBA Admission Essays

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by membership [?]

I worked with Cindy to craft my essays for part-time as well as EMBA programs at ASU. Cindy was very helpful, very experienced and gave me guidance on the content after talking to me briefly for the first time. Cindy's biggest asset is to present the content in fewer words without loosing the crux of your accomplishments. Cindy worked according to my schedule and she is very accommodative of my requests. Cindy asked me to buy an hour at a time and did not waste my time at all. Its the best decision I made and money well spent. Initially I crafted essays for part-time then I have to revise for EMBA. But, Overall based on the guidance she gave me for part-time helped me to craft my EMBA essays and it was just an hour with Cindy on my EMBA essays. I appreciate her guidance and time consciousness. I will not hesitate to recommend Cindy to future MBA aspirants. I thank Cindy and accepted.com team for reviewing and guiding me in admission process.

Feedback

I worked with the consultant Esmeralda Cardenal from the Accepted.com on my application.

I must say that firstly I was somewhat reluctant with this type of service as it is too expensive, but afterwards, I felt it was a great help.

The consultant helps you not only to clarify your own ideas avoiding redundancy but also to follow the right strategy for each school.

Your thoughts will be leverage granting your acceptance to your dream school. In the end, the solution was always with you.

I definitely recommend the work of Esmeralda Cardenal from Accepted.com. I hope you also enjoy!

Excellent Service with Tangible Results

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by school email address [?]

The service provided by Jen Weld and Robbie Walker at Accepted.com was exceptional. At first, I didn't know if I really needed help with editing my essays, since I had already been accepted into a top 5 master's program for international relations. However, business school applications are a completely different animal. Jen really helped me focus on how best to leverage my past experience to make me a viable candidate on paper. She was extremely honest in her feedback. Jen helped me draft and focus my essays to highlight my strengths and address my weaknesses in such a way that they would not make me seem less viable as a candidate. Robbie Walker also assisted me, and I appreciated her candor and making me complete multiple drafts of the same essay, when I would have taken the easy way out. Again, I wanted to write this review and say that I truly appreciate all of the assistance that both Jen and Robbie were able to provide me. I believe it was critical in getting accepted to a quality program that was the right fit for me. Also, I was accepted into a top 10 program and received a generous scholarship. I paid per service (hour) and never felt like my time was wasted. The advice and revisions were succinct and timely.

ACCEPTED.COM ... well worth the money

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by school email address [?]

I was hesitant about actually hiring someone to help me with my application to MIT/Sloan because I felt that I had a strong application to begin with. That said, I was only applying to one school so I wanted it to be a slam dunk. The essays proved to be challenging in that you have to distill your story into 500 words or less while remaining compelling enough to get an interview. In the end, Cindy T. was EXCEPTIONAL at helping me hone my message and ensure that I delivered a cohesive message. Once I was invited to interview she spent time with me going over things they might ask and it really made me feel very confident. There was really only one metric of success - and I'm extremely happy to report that I was accepted last week. In that regard it was WELL WORTH the money ! The other aspect of this is that working with a professional like Cindy really helped me put things into perspective while working a very busy job.

Accepted.com MBA Interview Coaching

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

I thoroughly recommend using Accepted.com's MBA Interview Coaching service if you are uneasy heading into MBA interviews. I had applied to 5 top MBA programs (UVA, NYU, UCLA, Columbia, UMich) on my own and thought I'd be able to weather the storm that is the admissions process on my own. After I received an interview invite from Darden, I knew I needed help mastering my story and making sure I knocked the interview out of the park. This is when I decided to reach out to a few consulting services and ultimately decided on Accepted.com. I worked with Natalie Epstein and her breadth of knowledge from working as an AdComm member at numerous top ranked programs put my nerves at ease. Further, she has years of experience on the consulting side of the business which gives her another advantage as she has seen/heard many MBA hopefuls stories and knows what works and what doesn't from this experience.

In working with Natalie, I really felt personalized service and was extremely prepared heading into my interview. We spent time chatting about my background before we did a few mock interviews and after all our work I was supremely confident the day of my interview. If you're someone who is feeling a little unsure about your "story" heading into an interview then I would HIGHLY recommend you use Accepted.com's MBA Interview Coaching service.
