I started studying for the GMAT the beginning of April and after one and a half weeks of studying on my own I landed with a Quant score of Q35. Realizing I needed more structured learning, I found eGMAT's LivePrep Courses (both Quant and Verbal). Two and a half months later I ended up scoring Q50 on my official GMAT test.

Things I liked about the course:
- Cost friendly: After looking at a couple of prep courses, I found that the eGMAT courses to be the most cost friendly option. The cost didn't mean that quality was sacrificed either so I was pleasantly surprised.
- Video Format: I'm an audio visual learner myself which made the online video format of the course very helpful
- Structured: I wasn't very familiar with what topics would be tested on the GMAT and eGMAT provided a nice structured approach to all the topics I needed to learn. I don't think there was anything that eGMAT missed.
- Q&A Sections: Within their videos as well as in the answers to the practice questions, there's a Q&A section used by students and the eGMAT experts. This section was very helpful to me as often I had similar questions to those other students had posted
- Directed Practice Questions: eGMAT structured the OG practice questions during their practice modules so that they pertained to the particular topic you were learning.

The only thing I didn't find extremely necessary to me was the live sessions themselves (which is on top of the recorded video sessions). I didn't feel like I needed them and I was fine with just the videos myself. So if you don't find yourself needing a direct live session then you can also go for the Quant Online course that's offered by them.

Definitely recommend this prep course if you want to score high in Quant!

Structure-

The course was very well structured and I primarily used it for SC. The 7 step approach to attack a SC problem was the highlight of it. I had never focused on meaning but after this course I have started to do so.

Impact-

My accuracy increased sharply from 75% to 90%+ in Verbal. I was able to even understand RCs and CRs better. The best part of this course is that it uses videos, so it's very easy to concentrate. I had the problem of losing focus while studying, but with e-GMAT videos I could focus easily and concentrate easily.

I would highly recommend this everyone looking to improve their Verbal skills.

I am a non native speaker and had give my GMAT more than a year ago. So when i first started i was only getting used to the GMAT verbal sections. During my first try i got a V28 and i felt that i could improve my sentence correction if i change my understanding of the section.
After hearing a lot of positive reviews i opted for the e-gmat course and in that the sentence correction course helped clear my doubts in S-V agreement and many areas where improvement was needed. Now my sentence correction accuracy has improved to 90%.
Coming to Verbal Live Prep, discussing the questions at the same time helped to re-assure the method to do the questions correctly. You can also get your doubts clarified at the same time. I also like the fact that the instructors taking the session stay back for a few minutes after the session to answer our general GMAT queries.
Thank you e-gmat for a well structured verbal online course.

I subscribed to e-gmat after having scored 660 on my first attempt. I had attended a couple of webinars and was impressed by the content provided through e-books and ability quizzes. What really helps is that e-gmat doesn't give you any shortcuts - its just a clear focus on basics and a well structured content that goes a long way in consolidating the basics so that the ability for getting those higher level questions is enhanced. The clear sequence of content, starting with concept files to application quizzes and practice quizzes surely help clear key concepts before taking up the scholaranium (which in itself is a great resource) and OG questions. After using the course content I am about to embark on my second attempt and I am sure e-gmat will surely help me get to my target score.

V29-V31 using e-GMAT Verbal Online. Scholaranium is AWESOME!

All the Hype about e-GMAT's Verbal Online, especially Verbal Scholaranium is true.

It is indeed a very well structured course. The quizzes that follow the superbly broken down lesson videos provided a periodic assessment. And, once I finished SC and CR I could go to scholaranium and test my current levels. I could easily pin point my weak areas in Scholaranium and work on them and see my progress every day.

The level of the questions themselves are very thorough and slightly tougher than what one can expect on the real GMAT. During my exam I felt that I was in much better control of how the test progressed from start to finish whereas that was not the case in my 1st attempt. I entered the Verbal Section with a lot of confidence and improved my score from V29 to V31.

I highly recommend this course for aspiring GMAT takers. Oh, I almost forgot, did I say that I was a non-native? This was perfect for me and that's why I am still with e-GMAT for my Verbal Prep.

since I am from engineering background I thought that quant in gmat will be a cake walk for me.But situation was different. When I gave my first mock my quant score was Q42.It was way below my expectation.I searched a lot about where can I get good quant course.Trust me guys egmat quant live course is the best course I came across. The key features of the course is the method used to explain each and every topic is in very interactive manner.I never felt bored of any topic while studying from egmat. There is sectional topic wise quiz after each topic which helped me solidify the concepts.
The most important thing that had significant impact in my preparation was As an expert tool and live session.from doubts of other students I learned a lot.Whenever I had a doubt any topic I always got expert advice which helped me to clear my doubts. The quiz format for solving questions also give the ambience real test which helped me to improve timing.
The other high light , live session is a must attend for every student who is aiming a good quant score. In the live session they helped me solve the questions in a step by step aproach.which improved my accuracy tremendously. Also live sessions taught me the process to follow while solving 700 level approach. While attending live session I had experience of sitting in a classroom with other students.Thats how interactive it is.The scholaranium helped my findout my weakness and helped me to fine tune my preparation
After attending quant live course my quant score improved tremendously and it improved to 49.A big thanks to egmat for that.Egmat became my best friend during my gmat journey.
Egmat quant live course is a must for every gmat aspirant.I highly recommend it all the gmat aspirants. You will love the preparation once you start learning through Egmat.

Like many others when beginning their GMAT prep, I took a practice test to gauge my current ability. I got V42 and let’s just say a very low quant score. Understandably, I decided to focus all my effort on quant. At first, I was reluctant to buy any products because of all the free materials available online. I was quickly overwhelmed. I didn’t know where to begin. There was too much data for me to process from too many sources. Plus, I read that some of the free content may not even be GMAT relevant. So, I set out to find a product I could trust that would be my one-stop shop for GMAT prep. Lo and behold I discover e-GMAT’s free Number Properties webinar. I attended the webinar and liked it a lot. The instruction was clear and with plenty of insights. I thought I improved after that one session.

That prompted me to go for e-GMAT’s free trial, and my positive experience there led me to the full Quant Live Prep course. I’ll list out the things I like most about e-GMAT:
- The product is organized really well. It’s broken up into 5 broad areas (Number Properties, Algebra, Geometry, Word Problems, Advanced Topics), each of which contains all the lessons you need to become a master at the topic. Because of this, I didn’t spend time on creating a study plan. My plan was to just go through all the sections one by one, and re-evaluate after completion.
- Scholaranium is a great tool. It was super handy once I completed the course because it allowed me to target my weak areas and really iron out those remaining wrinkles.
- The audio-visual format of e-GMAT is a great complement to other resources you may be using (e.g. the OG). Research shows that learning via different mediums (e.g. textbook, lecture, discussion) is better for retention than learning via a single medium.
- And lastly, my questions would get a response within 24 hours.

Just to share my progress, I recently took e-GMAT’s proctored exam and scored in the Q49-51 range, which makes me hopeful for the real thing coming up in a month.

Great approach to Verbal Section

Course e-GMAT Online Focused

I first heard of e-GMAT through a friend that had used the course for her exam. After reading quite a hefty amount of reviews of several services, I chose e-GMAT for its attractive price entry and great reviews. I'm so glad I did so!

e-GMAT's Blietzkrieg platform is really user-friendly, organizing each of SC, CR and RC separately. Its videos are really easy to follow and uses both theory and examples to convey what it's most important for any test taker to know. I love that they provide "Application Quizzes" for each of the topics as this helps cement the understanding on how to approach different type of questions. Additionally, its Scholaranium is perfect to help you understand where are your weaknesses and strengths and thus get better through practice and through a thorough understanding of the concepts with the video lessons.

By the end of each lesson, I felt like I had mastered the approach that they teach and I think that's the most important thing I've learnt so far. It's not so much about knowledge but rather on how to approach each question. The "pre-thinking" technique on each of the SC, CR and RC sections has helped me improve my verbal score on mock tests significantly from V37 to V41.

e-GMAT's approach helped me rethink how I had been studying and would definitely recommend it to anyone who has had a difficult time with the verbal section of the exam.

Good luck to everyone!

I started testing myself with free GMAT practice exam from Veritas and Manhattan prep. My verbal score was near about 27-28. A friend of mine suggested me about e-Gmat. This course helped me to raise my verbal sectional score by 10 points, up to 38. Though my score at actual Gmat was a bit lower than the practice tests this was due to exam pressure. the e-Gmat course is very well defined and provides one of the best analysis of your preparation.E-GMAT focuses from the very basic reading technique up to the most advanced problems. I would highly recommend this to anyone and especially to non-native English speaker.

E-GMAT- Best for Verbal

I took the Verbal Online course on E-GMAT prep provider. The detailed video lectures and crisp summary help understand the concepts very well especially sentence correction. It segregates the topics efficiently and in small chunks which is very helpful in understanding difficult concepts. The examples in each section are to the point and bring out the essential focus point of the topic. The questionnaire after every topic helps you find your weak points in particular concepts. Also the detailed answer and approach is what of utmost significance.
My verbal was very poor the first time i gave GMAT. After taking e-gmat verbal online course my score increased significantly from V24 to V37. This increase is the major reason for my success at GMAT. I would definitely suggest Verbal Online as it would be very efficient in preparing your for GMAT Verbal in the limited timeframe.
