The e-gmat sentence correction course is really good. It helps you a lot, particularly if somebody is a non native speaker. The step by step process that is used by egmat team to solve SC problems is just amazing. It is a must for everyone who is struggling in sentence correction problems. The videos help a person understand each topic in his or her own pace. In addition the Verbal Scholaranium has a very good collection of question in both SC and CR. I would recommend this course to everyone. It surely is the best available course in the market. It helped me to improve my score. Great work by e-gmat team.
My GMAT journey started back in October’15. At that time, my preparation resource was Official Guides, Verbal and Quantitative review, some books and several materials available online for GMAT preparation. Soon after I started my preparation, I felt that my strength is Quant. After couple of weeks of study, I took a mock test in GMAT Prep Software and score in Quant was 47. However, it is not the quant that holds back my GMAT progress, but the verbal. I spent most of the time trying to improve my verbal score and practicing more on verbal, yet I could not get what I wanted. I never felt confident enough in verbal part. The situation did not changed even when I took the GMAT in November’16. I scored Q48 but verbal was a disaster.
Then, it was my time to take a step back and think what went wrong. It took me some time figure out that process of elimination is very important for verbal i.e. only figuring out the right answer is not enough, but figuring out why the wrong answer is wrong is equally important. So, I took some time to research the correct online prep. tool for me and finally, selected E-Gmat Verbal Online prep.
Today, as I get closer to GMAT date again, I feel differently about my verbal strength. Now I feel confident. The E-Gmat verbal online prep helped me a lot to come out from the situation that I had before my first GMAT attempt. This improvement is because of several features in the course.
Firstly, the concepts for each of the section – RC, CR and SC – are clearly explained with examples. It is important to show the concepts and application of the idea at the same time, with GMAT like examples. This course does that pretty well. This approach not only clears doubts and increases understanding of the concept, but also makes the concept stay embedded in your memory. Furthermore, the audio-visual approach of the course engage you in such a manner that you stay focused to lesson, a lot better than a boring lecture.
Secondly, the practice quizzes and concept quizzes right after each lesson helps to get quick feedback on your progress. For an impatient person like me, who is a sucker of quick result, the course worked well for me, at least from that point of view.
But what liked most in this course is its approach towards the wrong answer. Especially in RC and CR, the course provides you concepts on the wrong answer choice as well categorise them into the common traps used by the tentmakers. As a result, I fell a lot more confidant today when solve the questions.
Another feature that helped me a lot with my preparation is the scholarenium platform. This platform helped me to practice a lot with GMAT like question with different difficulty level. Plenty of options are available to customaries the quiz. Sometimes, I take a quiz in the exam setting to see my accuracy level. Other time I can just choose a topic in study mode to evaluate my strength on that topic. The explanation and feedbacks given in this quiz platform is really helpful.
All in all, I can say that E-Gmat verbal online prep helped me to get in better shape for the exam and to build up my confidence in verbal section!!
Being a non native English speaker, I had a bit of trouble doing SC questions. Then I found out about e-gmat through gmatclub and read the reviews. Seeing many positive reviews, I decided to take the package for sc. Now I can clearly say that I don’t regret y decisions. E-gmat SC course was very clear, I had learned all the concepts easily. Though my verbal score is less, I am pretty sure with a bit of practice and the concepts I learned from egmat will help me achieve a good score. I sincerely thank egmat for this wonderful package
I am a non native speaker and had give my GMAT more than a year ago. So when i first started i was only getting used to the GMAT verbal sections. During my first try i got a V28 and i felt that i could improve my sentence correction if i change my understanding of the section.
After hearing a lot of positive reviews i opted for the e-gmat course and in that the sentence correction course helped clear my doubts in S-V agreement and many areas where improvement was needed. Now my sentence correction accuracy has improved to 90%. Thank you e-gmat for a well structured SC online course.
I am a non-native English speaker and have subscribed for E-Gmat after trying many of the available Test providers in market. I am failing in CR aspect of verbal section. I am unable to think critically in stipulated amount if time.
The following is the series of events w.r.t my GMAt Verbal preparation:
I went through MGMAT material initially, then wrote a mock GMAt test.. scored 25 in Verbal then completed Magoosh & CR Bible. Got 27 after completion of both.
Now as a last resort have subscribed for E-Gmat. let me see how i will fair. So far I have improved well. Hoping for a +ve final result after this at least.

I was very weak in Verbal part of Gmat. I have given GMAT 3 times and in all the attempts did not score well in any of my attempts. After a lot search and analysis related to verbal course and ended up choosing E-Gmat Verbal Live Prep course. The structured approach of E-GMAT helps you identify each and very type of problem and GMAT throws at you. It helped me improve a lot as far as the Verbal section is concerned and helps me understand the nitty gritty of each type of questions.
I personally loved the Scholaranium which comes with verbal live prep. The explanation provided for the different question is awesome and in depth. The explanation is in accordance to the structured approach related to the Verbal Live Prep course.
So I joined this course thinking that it'll drastically improve my capabilities for verbal section. While it does teaches you nuances of English grammar along with creating conceptual clarity, the real essence of this course lies in teaching the gmat hacks. The exam is pretty much predictable in terms of what kind of wrong ans choices the creators can put in the exam. egmat has identified all of those pre-hand and have included them in the course. One's job is essentially to internalise these hacks so that when you attempt the real exam, you will be able to spot these errors in a second.
The SC part is the real deal. This will be perhaps the best SC course in the market. For CR, you must complement it with books like PowerScore, Manhattan etc. For RC, you can't do much except from improving your reading skills which will come by practice only.
Ensure that you utiilize the Scholaranium which has a collection of 700+ good quality Verbal questions. It comes with a bit of analytics though I still feel there is a lot of room to grow in terms of improving these features, the analytics bit and overall interface.
It offered few freebies like GMAT Club 6 month access and a 800score.com test series so all in all a real sweet deal!
After I decided to take GMAT, I was really struggling about what course and strategy I should follow. While my quant was always strong, I was very worried about verbal. Moreover, I am a very procrastinated person that I thought I would not be patient enough to study by books and study hard if I don't have strong pressure. Therefore, after skimming through many reviews, I decided to choose an e-GMAT Verbal online course and it has never made me regret.
As soon as I had registered in eGMAT Verbal Online course, I was provided with a very detailed study plan that I should follow. This is very helpful for procrastinated person like me. I can organize my study day by day and put pressure on me to finish my study. The course is very well organized by providing class about each concept before giving a number question to practices. The videos are very detailed, giving everything from the basics and how to apply this concept to the verbal questions. This helps me to focus on each concept in each class and practice 3-steps strategy to the questions. The three steps strategy is very helpful especially for SCs to get the right answer in the very short time.
The feature I liked most about the e-GMAT course is that I just need to follow step by step and then improve my skills without struggling about what is the best way for me to study. Of course, I would not say it would be the best way to all GMAT tacklers but e-GMAT gives a free-trials and I think after a couple video, you will know the answers.
As my test is coming up in one month, I'll keep you updated about my score.
I enrolled for the eGMAT verbal review a couple of times and in each occasion I saw an improvement of 3/4 points in the verbal section. I jumped from 35 to 39 and 39 to 41 eventually to end up with a 740.
As a non native speaker, the online course helps understand and breakdown the problem for ease of solving. Moreover, it also helps a candidate go in a sequential order to understand / prepare for the exam and then attempt tests/ mocks etc.
I have known several other very close friends use these resources and I am confident that e-GMAT can significantly contribute towards a candidates score improvement esp after the 700 mark.
This was my first attempt in GMAT. When I gave my first mock after a month of self study, I scored 610 Q49 V 26. I was somewhat happy with the quant score, but the verbal score gave me a real jolt. I searched for some online courses in GC and based on e-GMAT's rating and review, decided to give it a try. I never regretted that decision. The structured learning pedagogy of e-GMAT right from the basics helped me learn grammar and master reasoning.
There are many students in India, who fear the verbal section, I was one of them. After completing e-GMAT's VLP I felt confident and was to eliminate wrong answers on valid grounds. I would surely recommend this course to anyone who has lived in an environment, where English is sparsely used.
The scholaranium helps you to identify your weakness and gives you opportunity to practice more and track your progress. Krishna Sir and Shraddha Ma'm have provided detailed solutions to all the doubts asked. I learnt a lot from those explanations.
e-GMAT profoundly helped me in improving my verbal score to V38 . I thank e-GMAT team for creating such a wonderful learning platform.
