Upset and frustrated, I started looking for online materials and based on the positive review, I enrolled myself for Verbal online course. I spent some time going through the material and really liked the way concepts were explained. The presentation format of the material really helps understand things faster. The internal forum is pretty active and answers your questions promptly. Awesome!
I already feel the difference in my verbal ability. I would be giving my GMAT again and hopefully these concepts learned from e-gmat will help improve my verbal score. I shall share my feedbakc once agin after my exams.
The CR session that Neeti Sohal clarify is comprehensive and useful. The way to eliminate the wrong answer choice, and see the option that really strengthen and weaken the argument is very clear. Each type of arguments is well-presented so it does support me a lot in the process of pre-thinking and analyses the context more properly and more efficiently. All the concepts are well-structured in the pre-requisites so I can apply these concepts first before coming to the live session to have better application. However, the RC course should provide OG questions to apply each concept to make better understanding.

eGMAT explains verbal concepts in great detail. I really like the SC course. They also provide excellent support and answer queries within a day or two(max) through their forum. eGMAT has been a great resource. eGMAT's Scholoranium is a good and one of the few reliable sources of practicing questions. eGMAT's course is a great package overall. They have solutions for OG questions and it really helped when I could not understand the concepts. I think that the course is worth the money. I recommend the course to anyone who wants to understand verbal concepts in detail. The only improvement I can suggest is to make the subscription valid for one year instead of 6 months.
E-gmat quant course is very insightful and the course is very knowledge oriented. The various tests conducted in the e-gmat quant course helps to brush up the foundation levels and it increases your understanding of the subject very well. I hope to see more e-gmat practice tests. the instructors are very prompt if you address any query. The general quizzes, the test scores are very apt to the GMAT score and to understand your score level and the loop holes while attempting the tests. Thank you gmat for the support and i m looking forward to improve my score and I hope you help me boost up my score levels in the real GMAT Test.
The verbal course is well structured and tailored to the needs of non natives.Video concepts, quizzes, OG questions, application files helped me to Understand the concepts well. The way they divided OG questions according to topics is a commendable gob. Their 3 step process of solving questions, makes life much easier. I had some difficulty in Tenses and Parallelism. After going through the slides, and practicing the questions, now i am able to solve 80% of the question correctly. The course has an effectiveness of a private tutor, and doesn't cost much. Audio visual learning actually engages your ability to read. The way the whole course is designed is really commendable and highly recommended to all for whom verbal is not their strengths, especially non-natives.
I am non native speaker and as with most of the non native speakers was struggling in improving my ability in the verbal section.
In quants i could easily score a 48-49 but in verbal always stuck in 30.
I tried improving on verbal by keeping an error log but with time it got cumbersome and was struggling to organize my preparation process.
Phew! then came Scholaranium to my rescue.
Egmat scholaranuim exactly provided me the platform to track my progress and improve upon my weak areas.
It provides an option to track your abilities areas wise thereby making it easier to focus on weak areas.
The content structure and the audio visual UI are also designed to make the learning easier.
Modifiers in SC and the prethinking concept in CR are very helpful in getting your core skills right. The probability that i get a modifier question right has greatly improved.
In addition to this they have free live sessions irrespective of the course taken which was also helpful to me.
Coming to the Cons,
There is no option yet to reattempt all the incorrect answers.
This is something that i see could be added as an extra feature.
i am yet to give my GMAT after takign this course but enrolling in this course has definitely fine tuned my preparation process.
I am planning to take GMAT exam on May 31 and have registered on e-gmat last year . I found verbal course of e-gmat and its format very effective . It has been designed into several categories , covering each topic strategically and placing several modules for practice after concept section. The videos were self-explanatory and the live sessions acted as an anchor to reinforce the important concepts and their application. I would recommend e-gmat to every serious aspirant if they are targeting a good score in GMAT.
e-GMAT is really an amazing course as it simplifies the most difficult of the topics and more importantly it helps build a strategy which I think is the key for the GMAT exam.

I start from the day i started my preparation in 2012 and gave GMAT after going through OG and some more concepts on Quant. I gave the Exam after studying for almost two months along with my demanding Job with only Sunday as a holiday. I got 630. Verbal was a disaster there. Though i was ok with Quant score but needed more improvement on it. Though quant comes automatically, focus was to improve on both Verbal and Quant. Got busy with the job and could not pursue the prep again, but started preparing all over again in Sept 2015.
When i started preparing again, read about E-Gmat course on Google. After going through several other books i was not satisfied with the method which i should use. But seeing the free online videos of E-Gmat, available for Sentence correction and Critical reasoning, i was very much impressed. I started to use the learned concepts in the OG questions and the result was a big difference. I soon opted for Verbal Live prep.
The step by step division of the course content is the best part of the E-gmat Course. It is by far the most structured course i have come across. Also the new addition of the Articles, written by various instructors adds wonders to the concept. The practice after each module boosts the morale and the confidence in the particular topic. For me verbal workshop conducted by shraddha was of great help. She clearly explained the way we can focus more to complete 8 questions right rather than all 10. Rajat also explained this in a very nice way in strategy sessions. It was an awesome help tip.
The three step process of Sentence Correction improved my Sentence correction accuracy to more than 90 %. CR for me was good, but pre-thinking process made it more structured and it increased the confidence that i am marking the right choice by knowing the way to eliminate the choices. How to eliminate the choices is one of the key features that helped me a lot in marking the right answer.
Summarizing each paragraph in reading comprehension was the best strategy i liked and in one verbal lecture Neeti taught that the paragraphs are progressive, so no need to stop if some things are not clear. It will be understood later. That one was the next big help.
This course not only taught the way to conquer GMAT but also helped me in writing good English.
Though i thought i was good in quant, but something was lagging. I was not able to apply the concept within two minutes. So i enrolled for Quant course too. That was i must say the best step i took. The concepts are very much structured and filled the places where i was lagging.
The Scholaranium for both Quant and verbal is of great help, after one is done with OG and the Course content, because once the prep is over, we are short of more practice questions. The questions are almost of the same pattern as are asked in real GMAT, so it is of great practice. Also the whole data is available to revise and see the mistakes again and gain. How other people have attempted the Scholaranium also helps in identifying the areas which can be improved.
I would say that there is nothing without Practice and Scholaranium provided enough questions. There is no need of thinking where to get more practice questions after you are done with OG and the course material. The questions provided here are more than sufficient for practice.
I finally scored 700 (Q 50, V34). Verbal i could have improved more but i was stuck on one RC in the Real GMAT and was not able to understand a single line of it. That was the last RC and i was already exhausted.)
I would recommend a must go course if anyone want to improve for both verbal and Quant. A course that will teach good English without actually teaching the grammar jargons such as gerund, prepositions, conjunctions etc.
Thank you ( Rajat and team).
Quality of questions:
Excellent level of questions in both SC and scholaranium. Nice application of concepts in the question bank especially the 3 step procedure.
Quality of solutions: Solutions aligns itself with the 3 step process approach and is quite simple to understand and apply. For non natives it is one the best courses out there I would suggest it all GMAT aspirants.
Platform: The scholaranium platform offers variety of flexibility to analyze strengths and weakness and develop the strategy accordingly. One of the key features is the ability tab that helps to evaluate oneself in the best way. Overall, this course has helped me in not only preparing for GMAT but also improve my reading and writing skills.
I signed up e-GMAT Verbal Live Prep in Sep 2015. The main reason that I chose it was because of very positive reviews. "Best course for non-native speakers", "Huge improvement in verbal scores" etc. These advertisements and reviews really attracted my attention. I'm a non-native English speaker and I want to improve my verbal score. So I decided to buy the course. Now, when going through the course, I can see what did I miss in my first attempt. I will share some positive aspects of this course.
1. Provides a very well structured study plan with concepts and quizzes for each section. (This may be useful for anyone who lacks discipline)
2. Comes with free mock exams that can generate performance analytical reports. (However, the timer doesn't work well, leading to wrong timings of your response time)
3. The e-GMAT time was kind enough to extend my course when I couldn't finish it in time. (The login was valid for about 6 months and they extended it for 1 month)
