I have enrolled for the e-GMAT courses for my preparation for the GMAT test. I am scheduled to take the exam on August 22nd.
Acknowledging that e-GMAT courses as the best source for my test preparation would be an understatement. It also helped me improve my written communication skills and reading skills in my other associated tasks. e-GMAT provided a hands-on training step by step to develop my competency in English.
No matter what, I am already satisfied with e-GMAT since I can communicate better with the knowledge that I have accumulated by studying it. Last but not the least, I have already managed to score 25 verbal questions correctly as opposed to 7 during my first diagnostic test. I am hoping to score at least 30 on my final test. All the credit will go to e-GMAT without any reservation.
Hello,
I enrolled in the e-gmat verbal live prep 5 months back. I was on and off preparing for the GMAT using e-gmat and for the little time I spent, I have completed 80% of the sentence correction. I see a lot of improvement in sentence correction itself by using the e-gmat method of looking for the meaning first. Before taking this course I would directly jump on to the answers after reviewing the question for a while but now I am spending much more time analyzing the sentence. This is helping me to improve the accuracy as well as timing. I hope and wish that this will translate on to the test day, which I think will because of my improved confidence levels.
I wish I can improve the same way in both CR and RC after going through these practice session. I suggest the non-native speakers take this course considering the methodology and the emphasis e-gmat gives on the approach and basics of each concept.
I wish everyone the very best
The videos are very helpful especially when you are traveling to work etc , you can just listen on your phone. Helps lay a strong foundation.
The practice questions are also good. However, I found Magoosh useful to build only my basics and get 600+ on practice tests. Magoosh alone was not enough for advanced quant.
After Magoosh I had to use MGMAT to further strengthen my quant. Of course since I had already gone through all the Magoosh videos studying MGMAT was much easier.
I definitely recommend Magoosh to help with the basics and also the ease of use is very appealing. However, Magoosh alone is not enough if you want to cross 700
If they can add more advanced lessons it will be much more helpful.
This product was fantastic because it allowed me to see the broad range of types of questions asked on the GMAT, and it showed me answers to questions I didn't answer correctly. In addition, it took the answers a step further and explained the steps needed to arrive at the correct answer. The written explanations and videos were also extremely helpful.
I had attempted to use study books and question banks but was having difficulty. After writing and performing poorly on the GMAT I discovered E-GMAT by searching for a GMAT study aid that allowed the user to see the difficulty of the questions they were working on. This helped immensely in allowing me to understand where my issues were and how to best tackle them. The video lessons were all very informative and covered everything you would need to know for the entire GMAT. I would highly recommend E-GMAT to anyone who enjoys working at their own pace and wants all the information you could require to succeed.
This was the best step I took towards my preparation for the GMAT. The live prep addition really adds so much value to the course at the fraction of the cost of what other market players charge for similar content. It includes content from really basic to the most advanced organized per three different levels.
There are so many extras that will suprise you once you buy the course..for example solutions to OG Verbal etc.. I really loved the way instructors were able to understand the thought processes of the students based on the answers chosen in the polls and guide students in the right direction. These approaches work in tandem to cement concepts and give plenty of realistic practice. Just go for it!
Particularly if you can catch a sale (I think they do end of month sales), Magoosh is a great value. The conent of the questions is pretty much on par with MGMAT and Kaplan questions from their text books.
The ability to actually test on the computer and have a more realistic similation of the test environment is great as compared to using a book.
Particularly on math, I found the video descriptions very good. The are very to the point, quick and clear. Verbal videos are by nature a little less useful, but this was where utilizing the email support was great.
I personally needed a big pick up on math, I did every question and most of the ones I missed twice. At the end of the day, I got the score I targeted.

My verbal scores were saturated and I just wasn’t able to move from the 29-31 range. After a lot of research I found e-GMAT and signed up for their Verbal Live Prep course, it was a terrific choice and I’m glad I choose e-GMAT. Their course is laid out in simple terms and the concepts are crystal clear. On hindsight I would say it was like finding an oasis after being stuck in the desert for months!!
The e-GMAT 3 step approach to SC is simple superb, and along with the audio-video files and the Live-Sessions I was able to improve my accuracy and more importantly confidence levels when confronted with an SC question. Their SC & CR courses are amazing -no question about it, But my favorite is RC, after just 1 session with Shraddha, I was able to improve my RC accuracy from 50% to 90%.
e-GMAT played a critical role in moving my verbal score from a 29 to 38, and in the process helping me hit the 700 barrier. I would highly recommend e-GMAT courses for aspirants who are having a difficult time with verbal and are looking to improve their overall scores.
I have been out of college 2 years and was worried about starting to study again. I really liked Manhattan GMAT's study schedule. They were also realistic with studying and realizing most people are working. I took the class online and thought there would not be a lot of interaction but the two instructors did a good job with making sure we were answering questions online and through the microphone.
I think the best and most helpful part of signing up with ManhattanGMAT was an instructor looking over my practice scores and telling me what I should work on and giving different examples and suggestions than what was in the class and the online lectures.
I had taken Manhattan online course before I took my first GMAT but my verbal score was not good enough to score even 620+. I tried to improve but nothing changed even after 2 months. My score just improved 2-3points in these 2 months and that again wasn't good enough for taking GMAT one more time and scoring 700 for a decent school.
Then i joined e-gmat, which I shocking believe is actually designed for me. Every lesson was very useful for me and it cleared all my doubts on all major error topics. I started practicing questions along with e-gmat preparations. As a non-native english speaker, i believe e-gmat knows exactly what I need to do to score higher in GMAT test.
My GMAT is due next month, I am on the score of 34-35 that is 7-8 points improvement from my previous score. Hopefully in a month I would be able to score around 39-40 in Verbal after some more practice, and this verbal score would put in the range of 710-740 on GMAT if I would manage to score same or better in quant section (thanks to Gmat club for helping me on quant section with such a great collection of maths questions).
I am really thankful to E-gmat team for such a great help for improving my score to 10 or more points. You guys just hit bang on my weak areas and confusion points.
I re-took GMAT and saw a 10-point improvement in my verbal score - V25 to V35
I must thank the e-gmat team for its elaborate and strategic study materials that have greatly helped me improve my verbal score.
I found the course to be very scientifically constructed because the verbal concepts become very clear.
The strategies taught are very helpful and, if followed diligently, will surely improve verbal scores.
Shraddha , Payal and Rajat are very helpful and approachable. One can always reach out to them for questions, help and tips.
I suggest e-gmat to all students who are struggling with verbal .
