I can't recall the exact date my course started, but I think it started in November 2018. My MBA friends recommended Manhattan Prep, so I signed up for a weekend in-class course. I signed up for an in-class course at UT Austin, but it got cancelled because they did not enough students. The instructor I was going to do the in-class course with recommended Ms. Jamie Nelson, so I signed up for the online weekend course. It was my first exposure to online learning. I had my doubts initially, but I am actually glad I did the online course. It was convenient.

Ms. Nelson has been teaching GMAT courses for a very long time. She identified my weaknesses quickly and gave me many practice questions to address those. The student has to put a lot of effort into this, though. When I first signed up for the course, my goal was to beat Ms. Nelson's score, so I spent most of my time outside of work doing GMAT problems. Prepped for 4.5 months. The score I got is not quite close to Ms. Nelson's score, but I am glad I took her course. I highly recommend Jamie Nelson as your GMAT instructor.

Even though I had covered the full syllabus from another platform, I was stuck at Q45/46. Being a non-native speaker, Verbal was always going to be my weak area so I had to maximize on my strength, i.e., Quant.

One of my friends who was also preparing for the GMAT advised me to try TTP for Quant. I used TTP to fill the gaps in my basics and fine-tune my Quant prep. After using it for 10-15 days, I was able to score 49-50 regularly in the GMAC mocks and ended up with a Q50 on the real test.

Magoosh gives you all the necessary tools to be able to get a +700 score. Before starting to study with Magoosh, I never even heard of the GMAT. Next, I basically just followed their 3 month study plan and got a score of 710. Their lessons are clear and well done. They give you all the necessary information on how to tackle even the hardest questions. During the exam, I knew how to start every question in the Quant section. The quality of their exercises is really high and the video explications are hyper clear.
I also liked the very short response time in case you have any extra questions. They usually responded within 24h.

The e-GMAT strategy team laid out a clear step-by-step plan after analyzing my mock and my strengths and weaknesses. I also had an initial call with their team to understand the course offerings and I was impressed by the scholaranium, detailed mock analytics (NA on official mocks) and in-depth course material. They were supportive throughout the prep journey and would be quick to respond on email to any queries, issues I faced, etc.

DJ (e-gMAT mentor) was extremely helpful and supportive in my prep. He would analyze my mocks, section tests and highlight key improvement areas. I was taking time for CR and SC questions, which he helped me address. Additionally, he helped me understand the scoring algorithm, pacing and timing strategies for success.

The detailed plan for last few days shared by DJ definitely helped me improve verbal score, especially to increase accuracy while reducing time taken for CR/SC, while keeping quant score stable.

The calls with DJ were great because he clearly pointed out areas of improvement so that I would not get complacent, even if a mock went really well. He had a mentality of constant improvement and efficiency, which is what you need to eventually score well. (even if a question is correct, how can you do it faster, more efficiently, etc)

The warm-up strategy to do a few questions before a mock is a great tactic to get your brain working without taxing it. To sum up, thanks to DJ and e-GMAT team for their help and support!

Absolutely incredible platform! I was already fairly strong in Quant, but wanted to brush up my skills and ensure that I would achieve 49+. Walked through each essential GMAT skill for Quant and boosted my confidence. The Verbal beta really pushed my abilities to the next level and allowed me to break that 700 barrier. Starting with only 520, I improved my score to 700 (GMAT Online). Studying with Target Test Prep was the best decision I made during the prep!
Initially, I was using the MGMAT books that I got from a friend, but the score did not improve much after a few weeks of studying. So, I decided to look for an alternative way of studying. Luckily, Marty Murray, whom I found on the internet, referred me to Target Test Prep.
I enjoyed studying with TTP because it was keeping me engaged through the course. That I could see my score improving gradually was rather motivating.
The material is very thorough and the grind is not tiring at all. It is impressive how the material builds up block by block, eventually increasing the difficulty.
I highly appreciate the time the TTP stuff took to answer my many questions. I also appreciated a lot of material on different GMAT strategies, such as the GMAT time management strategy.

These tests are very close to the actual test and you need not hop for other materials for preparations. You will also have access to materials which will help you prepare for the interviews. I highly recommend experts global test series as it really helped me to improve my scores and it was as near to the real GMAT test as possible. My actual GMAT score (720) also lied between the scores that I used to get in these tests (680-740).
I joined their series to particularly improve my verbal ability section and the kind of questions that I was given were very refreshing. One usually ends up solving same RC questions (probably due to dearth of such questions) but experts global ensured to provide different passages in each of the tests (not similar to any of those found in Official GMAT series)

Increasing my GMAT score by 100 points over the course of 8 months was not easy, but working with TTP made the quant section feel like a breeze. The pre-beta verbal module really helped me internalize each and every question. Slowing down and building accuracy before speed paid major dividends for me. The hard questions in the verbal platform are also more difficult than the actual exam, so the actual exam felt very easy(I am almost positive I made some careless mistakes in the verbal section, as I was speeding through and had so much time left). The explanations on these questions are so thorough that I am not surprised my verbal score went up by 6 points! I believe the interactive module structure of e-gmat course is the best way to test prior knowledge, familiarise oneself with the course contents, and practise extensively. As many other reviews already mention, the verbal course was very easy to follow and has helped me a lot in my preparation. Supplementing the prep with scholaranium question bank was sufficient practice to ace the mock tests. Although I had used various mock test modules, the primary source of preparation has been e-gmat. I advise anyone who is just getting started to begin the preparation with e-gmat and test the skills on as many decent mock tests as possible.
