I loved the course. It was fantastic. The preparation looks better than my first time with lots of strategies that I did not apply initially however, I am struggling with the time management. What I loved the most is the instant reply. Plus I would definitely suggest it to others. My first attempt was by using a local teacher from a local institution but there is so much more to learn from GMAT except the syllabus. The techniques of preparing and time management is a huge issue. What bothers me is my lack of patience with sticking till the last moment as I tend to focus in the right answers.
I started thinking about preparing for GMAT in Mid 2017. So the first question came into mind was which GMAT prep course to choose? I had few criteria, My work schedule is office from 9 am to 6 pm and I am married and I have a 16 months old toddler. So with all these responsibilities I didn’t want to go for a class room course and decided to go for an Online course. Online course gives flexibility and saves us the time of commute. I went through the reviews of various GMAT prep courses and then decided I would first try self study. I started with the MGMAT quant books. I couldn’t sit through for long hours and concluded that video lessons are best for me and again going through all the course review, I selected e-GMAT Quant Live Prep, because it has good reviews and economical also. Now after completing the course, I became very comfortable with the quant section. The course is well structured into sections, the videos lessons are broken into small concepts with short videos so that you don’t get bored or tired. The application quizzes guide you well on how to approach respective question types. The have section wise quizzes from OG also, so you can keep track of your performance in OG questions. The live sessions are very good for further clarity on the process to follow for each type of questions. You can ask doubts in live sessions as well as in the forums on e-GMAT. The scholaranium is a very good tool to work on your weaknesses and keep track of your performances. You don’t need to worry about keeping a separate error log. The scholaranium keeps track of errors and you can put your notes about each question while doing review. I highly recommend e-GMAT course to anyone, no matter what stage you are in your GMAT prep. It is an excellent all round package. They have some of their concept files and couple of live sessions for free, so you can try before deciding.
I had scheduled a re-take to try and improve on my score. However, with applications and travel, I barely had any time to study. I used TargetTestPreps webinars to study my first time around and felt they could help me more. I decided to use their service and started reading chapters. The chapters and videos helped me improve on my areas of weakness and got me up to a Q48 within a week while maintaining my previous score. I felt really confident during the Quant portion of the exam. The team at TargetTestPrep was very helpful during my studies, always available to answer questions. I highly recommend this site for anyone serious about getting a high Quant score.
I will like to extend a heartfelt thank you to e-gmat quant prep online course. The first time I gave GMAT, I ended up with a below par 620. I realized I need help with Quant and thats where e-gmat came into picture. The e-gmat quant online course structure of the course is user-friendly. The course structure is comprehensive. It covers the basics and as we progress along, the scholarium prepares you for the 700+ questions. In addition, the course also helps you focus on topics that you will need to improve to achieve your target score. With e-gmat, I can see a 5-7 point improvement in my quant score during my practice tests. Thank you! Good luck to my fellow mates.
eGMAT Quant Online course is tailor-made for working professionals who have time constraints to prepare for GMAT. I scored a Q36 in my first attempt. While searching for GMAT courses, I came to know about eGMAT. I was impressed after attending eGMAT's free sessions, reading its free resources and reading reviews about its courses. Then, I purchased the course. After completing the course, I scored a Q49 on my next attempt.
The Quant Online course covers all the topics, which are tested in GMAT, extensively, and it is easy to understand even if we forgot our math basics. After every lesson, the application quizzes will guide us on how to approach each problem type systematically. The questions from practice quizzes, which follows application quiz, are carefully designed to test our skill level in each topic. Immediately after completing each subsections, you will be required to solve official questions for the corresponding sub section; this gives us a better understanding on how to apply the learning on official questions. The Quant Scholaranium consists of huge number of questions in each section. After completing each section, we must take the ability quiz from Scholaranium and make sure to get at least 50% if not 70% before moving on to next section. Scholaranium questions are very tough; if you score 50% or more in the ability quizzes of all sections, your actual GMAT Quant score will be at least 49 if not 51. My ability scores were around 40%.
Good Luck!!

I started my preparation back in October 2015 with dream to join EMBA colleges. I started preparation based on OG Guide and then I end up with online course of Top One Percent purchased. Though the videos were good and I prepared with this course, it has not helped me to clear my GMAT. After analysis I found that I am lacking with lot of concepts and I started to hunt for better preparation course. I did quite search online on Beat the GMAT and GMAT club and I found EGMAT course. I took the decision to purchase it but I started preparation late little.
EGMAT has helped me to extend the course online even after expiry of the course validity. Though I am strong in Quant, I picked the first preparation section as Quant. The course is designed in well manner to acclimatize with it and explains the concepts beautifully.
The Coordinate Geometry, Number properties, Algebra, and Word Problems section are explained quite well and I really liked the approach while solving the problems. Initially I was worried about timing but as I progressed with this course, I was not really worried about timing and it automatically accommodated within time frame. What really helped me was following the strategy provided by EGMAT. No matter how question was designed, I have followed the Steps that EGMAT has reiterated in every practice video. There is helpful explanation available when I wasn’t having any clue. This course clarifies minute details in neatly manner and hence I am pressing myself to finish Verbal section in coming time.
In upcoming time I will be preparing for Verbal section and then will go for my exam scheduled date. Now I am really more confident with Quant and can concentrate more on verbal section too.
Through the Egmat's structured startegies and approaches, I scored Q51 twice consecutively on my official GMAT attempts. It's difficult to score Q50 on quant but it's much more difficult to score Q51. I knkew knew all the concepts even in my first attempt but in my second attempt, I knew the exact strategies needed for seemingly difficult questions. Quant Scholaranium played a huge role in improving my ability in quant. I always enjoyed solving the customised tests on Quant Scholaranium. One important thing to keep in mind while solving quant scholaranium questions is that choose all Easy, Medium, Hard and Very Hard questions in each of your practise tests once you are confident about the concepts and applications. Otherwise it will be very difficult and frustrating for someone solving all the Hard and Very Hard questions in the end. It's a good strategy to spread evenly all types of difficulties. For sure, very hard questions take more than average time ( 2 minutes ) to solve but attempt them and try your very best to get the answer even if it takes more time than usual. These questions actually provide resistance training for your brain. Its It is like if you can lift 100 pounds during your practice then you can definitely lift 80 pounds on your show day. In that sense “very hard questions” push your brain to think beyond your traditional limits which in turn makes you more efficient especially in data sufficiency questions. If you have practiced and understood all the 1000+ questions on Quant Scholaranium, then you have got everything you need to score Q51 on the official GMAT exam.
I took the exam on 10th August and got 730 (Q51, V37). In my previous attempts, I was never able to get full on Quant (50 and 49).
I want to outline the role of e-GMAT Quant Live Prep in helping me get to 51. Although I knew that my Quant was strong, it needed some serious brushing up. e-GMAT with their rigorous yet relevant conceptual questions helped me specifically with Number System, Probability, Sets, and Statistics. Most importantly, I gained a lot by practicing on Quant Scholaranium.
The rigor of some questions is just amazing and it was refreshing to solve those questions. It really made me feel confident and in flow with my Quant.
Choosing the right verbal course for nonnative speaker is critical to succeed in Gmat verbal section. It didn’t take me a lot of time to zero in on egmat course after going through reviews about the course on gmat club.
The course follows a structured and meaning based approach which really helps to crack questions at ease.
Mastered Compression really helps to tackle even the most difficult of RC passage. On the top of it the structured approach taught to solve different question types really helps.
The concept of Pre-thinking used in CR truly unique and effective. If one follows the process as taught my experts, then finding the correct the correct answers is never a struggle
When I started SC, it was my weakest section. The meaning based approach really helped me to improve my ability. It goes beyond the different rules that we usually come across.
a) Magoosh has a very well defined structure for Verbal lessons and typically covers everything from basic that a non- native speaker should know to become more sound in solving complex Sentence correction and Critical reasoning questions. Also video explanations after each question are self explanatory and one doesn't need to look for any personal instructor to help with doubts. If in case, there is any doubt, instructors are very polite and clears the doubt with a very holistic approach over email.
b) Quant lessons contain every topic that are covered in GMAT syllabus and questions generally provide exam-like feel.
c) One area of improvement is that user interface can be made little smoother to switch between different sections, but that in no way hinders the study experience in long run.
