I really enjoyed Magoosh. One of the things about the program itself that makes it so valuable is that each problem you do has a text explanation but also a video explanation. I did find their verbal section to be better than the quant section. You get access to a huge number of problems. If you are willing to take the time and go through each of their video lessons you will see yourself improving in areas you needed help with. As far as the dashboard I am no sure how accurate the score it shows there reflects considering my projected score for quant was way lower. I do believe using magoosh and their "study guide" gave me the increase in my score I was looking for.

I took the Verbal Online Prep, in Aug 2017 when I was restarting my preparation for the GMAT. The Verbal Course is phenomenal and truly helps a non-native English speaker understand the core rules of spoken and written English. The course is very well structured and divided into easy-to-do sections. I took up the Gmat preparation after 5 years in service and the course got me up to speed with the format of the GMAT, the structure of the questions and the quickest methods to solve SC/CR and RC questions. Verbal-Online

Background
I am an engineer with an Oil and Gas E&P Company in India and I have been working since 2012. As with any regular engineer in my country, I was pretty decent on my Quant and average on my Verbal. Since I manage operations in my company, my work is pretty dynamic and I spend anywhere close 9-10 hours a day working, sometimes even on weekends. I started my GMAT preparation back in Nov 2015 but achieved my desired results Jan 2018. Over the years I sampled almost all the test prep products in the Market and I can safely say that the E-GMAT course is the best strategy and test prep course on the market.

Before I started with the E-GMAT. I had tried Classroom Coaching, which I never felt was as helpful as the E-GMAT course. After realising that my classroom prep was insufficient, I started doing self-study. The highest score that I got on Verbal was a V34. However, I was always aiming > V40 score on the GMAT. By July 2017, I had given multiple GMAT attempts and was out of ideas as to how to increase my score. A friend introduced me to the E-GMAT Verbal Prep. Since the test prep module was online, I was skeptical whether I would be able to clarify my doubts on the E-GMAT platform because the online course follows a fixed structure. I thought I would miss the attempt to speak to someone and get my doubts clarified. However, my skepticism was unfounded. The E-GMAT answer forums are a Gold-mine of information and there were days when I just went thru the Forum to understand how people think about, how do they deconstruct the questions.

Course Structure
The Course Structure is very straightforward. You start off with the Strategy and the Master Comprehension Module. Both these modules are essential to kick-start your preparation. The Strategy Module will help you prepare a strategy to get to your desired score. The Master-Comprehension Module was an eye-opener. The Module introduces the meaning based approach and gives you a complete low-down on how to effectively apply the meaning based approach.
After going thru the basic modules, the real action starts on the individual section modules. The Section modules are fun and I gleaned a lot of information, ideas and methods to solve the Verbal Questions. Mind you, by this time I had already given the GMAT thrice and I thought I already knew quite a lot about verbal section on the GMAT. The E-GMAT Verbal Online Prep changed that notion. Daily I was learning about new things that I had not read and found during my self-preparation.

Course Concepts

The course breaks down tough concepts into easy to understand videos and slides. Before starting the course, I knew I had trouble with SC and RC. The SC course started with the meaning based-approach to solve the questions and the approach was carried on to CR and RC question solving as well. All the 3 sections are nicely done and they give you a feel of complete control of the Verbal Section. One of the best things about each of the sections is that each section starts from the basics and then keeps building up towards tougher questions. Further, the concepts that you learn in SC are useful for both CR and RC.

Scholaranium

Scholaranium is the best tool for analysis and rectification. The Verbal online Scholaranium is quite detailed and really gives you an idea about your weaknesses and helps you prepare by practising more questions of a certain type. The scholaranium has the option of letting you choose between Easy, Medium, Hard questions. The Easy, Medium and Hard Categories are true representations of the Questions on the GMAT. The hard questions of all the 3 sections are fantastic. For the attempt in which I scored 740 (Q49/V41), I figured thru scholaranium that even though I was doing the questions correctly, but I was taking a lot more time to do the questions. My timing was way above the "takt" time and this timing issue was causing me all sorts of problems on the real test. Once I figured out in which sections I had the worst timings, I started to work on the questions selectively and kept on improving my timings. Another benefit of the platform is that it provides detailed solutions with a great forum discussion topic and an ability to bookmark and review the questions.

Verbal Workshops
The Verbal workshops are tests conducted by the E-Gmat team. These tests give you a detailed feedback on your strengths and weaknesses. This is a must-try for anyone who is looking to improve his/her score. In my first attempt I got a score ~ 69 percent in the Verbal Workshop and in my Final attempt I got a score ~ 89 %. Once I checked the scores, I knew I was ready for the real test.

Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend the course to students. The course is flexible enough to adapt the different requirements and will truly help you understand the areas of improvement. The course is really great for new test-takers as well as seasoned test-takers.

I completed all the sections of the verbal Online Course, in the exact manner as recommended. I contacted one of e-gmat's executiive based out of delhi, and seeked his help to design my detailed study plan. The executive was very helpful and flexible. I think egmat course specially for verbal section is the best specially for sentence correction. I was really poor in sentence correction i hardly able to make it correct because i don't know any grammar rules. So i heard from my friend about egmat and read its reviews and we 3 friends purchased the whole course of egmat but not live one. I read or saw every single videos of Sentence correction and solve their quiz. It took 2 months to saw every single video but after that my sentence correction get 90% accuracy and i was able to understand explanation on various sentence correction question but i will not recommend this course for mathematics as its of no use.

It helps in strengthen the necessary concepts for sentences corrections. The course is designed in scientific manner. For non native students its the ultimate solution. Course explains all the necessary sentence correction concepts.
The RC videos were helpful as well. e-GMAT provides you a number of key strategies that you must keep in mind while reading through RCs.
The best part is that, they have a standard GMAT question bank that consists actual CAT standard questions. One can form timed tests from that. Question solutions are also explained properly.

After almost a 10 year break from academia, I wanted a course that could really help me develop a solid foundation for my verbal skills. Also the fact that I had not been using English as a primary language for conversation in all these years made things even more difficult for me. After a lot of deliberation and attending a lot of free webinars from e-GMAT, I finally decided on e-GMAT verbal online course. And honestly, I was not disappointed at all. The online course did help me create sound basics and strategies to tackle different types of questions. The webinars and personalized doubt solving sessions complemented the course content very well. The practice questions and explanations provided in the scholaranium are of great quality and the inbuilt analytics help you identify and focus on your weak areas.
I scored a 570 on my first mock test before the course, and by the time i finished the course and practice from scholaranium i scored a 700 on a GMAT prep 2 on the day before my actual test (my first attempt on which i scored a 690). In the end I was pretty satisfied with my score in the first attempt and of course it took a lot more practice from various other materials to reach my target score of 740 in my third attempt. The foundation set by e-GMAT in my early days did help me throughout my GMAT journey.

I subscribed to E-gmat Verbal online course and I must say that it was totally worth every penny.
The subject presentation is very enticing. Learning grammar rules is a piece of cake of cake using E-gmat's interactive modules.

If you are not an pro in English and looking for a course that provides you wholesome material, this is what you are looking for.

Later on. I purchased Quant online module as well. The Quant Online course is also good but not that necessary for Engineers or someone who's good in aptitude. But it definitely helps in practicing GMAT style questions.

I signed up for e-GMAT on July 27, went through their general instructions, and went straight to the SC concept files. I discovered that the concept files provided very good explanations of the fundamental rules of grammar and sentence construction that are most relevant to the actual GMAT test.

The quizzes at the end of each concept file allowed me to test and solidify my understanding of the lessons I had just completed.

I also found the explanatory notes at the end of every answer quite comprehensive, precise and easy to understand. These explanations showed that any question can be attempted by sincerely following the approach laid out in the concept files.

I didn’t always score well in the quizzes that followed the concept files. However, I followed e-GMAT’s suggestion to flag the incorrect or trickier questions and return to them as often as required, until I began to answer them correctly. Gaining complete clarity on e-GMAT questions in this way proved to be the game-changer for me, because those questions seem to be designed to closely resemble actual GMAT questions.

I scored relatively lower on most RC and CR quizzes for quite some time. The breakthrough happened when I began to patiently apply pre-thinking steps and started to zero in on the correct solutions faster and with significantly better accuracy.

My suggestion to anyone who signs up for e-GMAT -

Pay attention to the instructions and try not to deviate from the suggested way of using e-GMAT.
Try to stick to the order in which concept files are presented.
Don’t skip the quizzes at the end of the concept files.
Don’t get discouraged if you cannot score well on the quizzes in your first, second or even fifth attempt. Just read the explanatory notes carefully, flag the question, and come back to them.
e-GMAT’s RC and CR questions can be intimidating, but that's only to prepare you better for the actual GMAT. The trick lies in perseverance and practice.
