Fantastic Product

Course Target Test Prep Flexible Prep

Strengths:

- Comprehensive
- Well-structured
- Easy-to-use

Would make the product better:

Verbal CR and RC instructions were repetitive. It was hard to grind through those sections and the difficulty/quality of the questions can be better calibrated to match that of the official questions.

TTP was an incredible product that helped me achieve a score of 770 after 4 months of studying. It's comprehensive and covers everything you'll need to know to get a great score on the GMAT. That said, you have to put in the work and trust the process. It took me 500+ hours studying approximately 25hr/wk to go from a 640 to 770. Big shoutout to Jeff, Marty and Scott from TTP for their help on throughout my GMAT journey. I couldn't have done it without them.

Tip: Although TTP is a great tool to achieve a great score, for those that want to achieve mastery, I'd highly recommend going through as many of the GMAT Official Guide questions as you can after you've completed the TTP course. There's no such thing as overpreparation, Make sure you rest your mind before the big test and work on managing your time and anxiety.

The Best GMAT Prep Course!

Strengths:

The course is structured really well and allowed me to efficiently plan and schedule my study sessions. I could see the progress that I was rapidly making.

Would make the product better:

Nothing!

In my practice tests and first official GMAT test, I couldn't break 700 on the GMAT. I was scoring relatively well on the Quant section but was having difficulty with the Verbal section. I liked that I could choose to do the accelerated program and bypass the Quant lessons and only take the review quizzes. This way, I had a nice review of the Quant section and could choose which topics to review more in-depth, while focusing more on the Verbal sections. While I did have to be self-disciplined because no one was keeping tabs on my progress, TTP made it easy for me to make my study plan. The lessons for each topic were super thorough and gave me a lot of confidence once test day came around.

Best Resource To Ace GMAT

Strengths:

1. The question bank
2. Great material
3. Frequent practice tests with good explanations.

The Flexible Prep Course allows you to study at your pace and offer great material to go with it. I would say the question bank was really close to the actual GMAT question bank. I had loads of questions to practice what I had learned from an equally abundant, and thorough, material. I was weak in Verbal, Probability and Combinatorics. But by the end of my preparation, these were my strongest areas. The course also encourages you to take frequent chapter tests. The frequency of these chapter tests helped me solidify core concepts.

I really recommend this course if you feel a lack of direction in your preparation. This course guides you through your preparation, does not rely on shortcuts and tricks. The course imparts complete knowledge and does not expect you to rely on any shortcuts for test day.

TTP is the best GMAT prep service on the market. Complete the full course (yes it will take a long time), and I'm convinced you'll achieve your dream score. Studying the free GMAT prep book is helpful because the questions are very similar to the actual test, but it explain the intricacies like the TTP program does. TTP spoon-feeds you everything you need to know, so you can spend time practicing problems, rather then trying to figure out what you need to know. The ROI on TTP's product is incredibly high, despite the cost. TTP is one of the best products / services I've ever bought, and I highly recommend it to anyone hoping for a high GMAT score.

Covers nearly all types of questions that can show up on the GMAT, with questions as closely accurate as possible as those on the GMAT. If you cover the entire course, you can guarantee getting as close as possible to your target score

Would make the product better:

The verbal section doesn't have as many questions as the quant, so more quizzes (especially CR and RC) would be helpful

Excellent choice - truly worth the money. Covers nearly all types of questions that can show up on the GMAT, with questions as closely accurate as possible as those on the GMAT. If you cover the entire course, you can guarantee getting as close as possible to your target score. Take your time through the program - don't rush, take every quiz, bookmark challenging questions, revisit them and retake them until you get them right. If you want to prepare well, pay for TPP and give yourself 4+ months to maximize the value you receive out of it. Strengths:

The lay out of this program makes it easy to follow every subject. The fact that you first get a lesson and then get tested on easy medium and then hard question enables you to know if you really understand the subject. Also the later recap test are great.

Would make the product better:

Maybe more recap test but to be honest we already get quite some general test so yeah. Nothing really comes to mind

I have tried multiple programs before really starting my GMAT journey. At first, I tried a program which enabled me to get a 650 at my first GMAT attempt. However, my quant was still quite low. After seeing the reviews I tried the free Target Test Prep offer which was great so after that I bought the month subscription. I studied the GMAT for a month in combination with a full-time job. Target Test Prep enabled me to improve my score to a 700. Target Test Prep is really a well-made platform especially for quant. When a new subject is introduced, first there is a lesson and then you have easy, medium and hard questions on the subject. This enables you to be sure that you have revised everything you need to achieve your goals. Also, the program is tailored for your goals (I took the version made to reach between 700-730 but I guess that for different levels different subjects are introduced). In conclusion, I would recommend this program to everyone who wants to succeed his GMAT goals.

Achieved a 740 on my first GMAT attempt after studying with TTP

Strengths:

The platform is user-friendly. The sections are laid out in a logical manner so they build on one another. Each section goes incredibly in-depth on the content being covered.

Would make the product better:

Nothing.

When I first began my GMAT preparation journey, it had been more than 10 years since I had last taken a math class or utilized anything beyond basic addition/subtraction/multiplication/division. Thankfully, this was not an issue once I began studying with TTP. The sections are laid out in a logical manner so they build on one another, and each section goes incredibly in-depth on the content being covered. After studying exclusively with TTP for three months, I earned a 740 on the GMAT on my first attempt. As a native speaker with strong verbal skills, it is hard for me to assess the efficacy of TTP Verbal, but I would 100% recommend TTP Quant.

Amazing product with incredible support team

I have taken the GMAT after preparing for almost a year with another prep team. But I scored 680 while my target was 740. So, I decided to start with another prep company and I came across TTP for the good. I immediately bought 7-day access. The product is well structured with great UI and an amazing support team that responds in under 2-5 hours. The VA course covers everything that can ever be tested on the GMAT. Even after preparing for the GMAT for a year, I found a lot of information in the VA course. In QA, I used the accelerated plan which worked best for me as I had already scored Q50 before, so I didn't want to spend more time on QA. Only with the chapter tests for QA, I was able to achieve Q50 again. Anybody planning or studying for GMAT should check out TTP once as the complete course is available for just $1(7 days).

Best Quant Resource for anyone who is not a 'Math person'!

Course Target Test Prep Dedicated Study

Quants was not my best suit as it is for most people from my country. After having studied using materials provided by Career Launcher online GMAT prep (an India based prep company), I scored Q44 in my first diagnostic mock. I expected it to be higher since I had gone through all of the concepts well. I tried doing a quant section from e-GMAT as well but I couldn't score well in the cementing quizzes they have and this left me feeling like a loser. I thought I didn't have it in me to do well in quants. Through the study buddy forum here I met a person who claimed that he had improved from Q42 to Q49-50 after using TTP. So I finally turned to TTP and decided to start with the 1$ trial. And I fell in love with their course!

Here's what I loved about TTP (specifically their quants):
1. The chapters make everything simple and very easy. I understood the logic behind everything and in effect, did not have to memorise anything. There is a logical progression to all the chapters and the sub-topics. It’s very easy to follow, especially for a person who never enjoyed Math. I started enjoying it for the first time.

2. Chapter tests: there are chapter tests after each chapter. These chapter tests have all difficulty level questions: easy, medium and hard. These are everything you need to practice the concepts learnt. They cover almost all types of questions that GMAT can possibly ask. You can rest assured that the concepts you’ve just learnt for a chapter will be ingrained in your head due to enough practice through repetition and comprehensive solutions.

3. Study plan: This is one of the best features on their platform. You can customise this based on your personal time commitment per day or week and it’ll show you exactly what you need to do everyday. There is a sense of achievement when a task is ticked off the plan and it always kept me going. This was key to my success as it kept me on track and showed me realistically how further I had to go.

4. Support: I reached out on their messenger often with small and big doubts, serious and silly questions, and Jeff and Marty were always there ready to answer. They gave long comprehensive answers and responded to any follow-up questions. They always replied well within 3 hours of asking the questions.

5. Strategy lessons and AWA: This program also gave me access to extremely insightful strategy and AWA lessons. Strategy lessons revolve around how to approach prep, how to take mocks, how to tackle pacing issues during the real exam, how to tackle anxiety before test day, etc. Their AWA lessons is all I referred to before the actual exam and scored a 6 on the actual AWA section.

6. Miscellaneous bonus points:
I got 15 days extension on my TTP plan through their reference program.

FYI: I finished the entire quant section with ALL the chapter and review tests in 3 months. They say the course is toooooo long. It is, but I found it fun and enjoyed it. It was almost like solving puzzles. They made it so enjoyable. I was able to finish the whole thing in 3 months by spending 4 hrs per day on average. Towards the end, I was scoring above Q47-50 consistently in official mocks and finally scored Q49 that is after I guessed on the last few questions and even missed marking one question.

Improved my verbal score from V28 to V40

TTP was instrumental in boosting my verbal score from V28 to V40. After failing to cross V30 mark for the third time, I finally decided to go with TTP as per suggestion from one of my very close friends (TTP helped her also to significantly improve the GMAT score). I had used certain other courses before starting TTP and was not very optimistic about it. I only focused on the verbal part as I scored decently in quant (Q49) without much preparation in my previous attempt.
I would say TTP surprised me with the depth of content it provides for its users. I started enjoying the course and saw my verbal reasoning skills improve significantly within 2 months. I finished only 20% of the overall course and started feeling confident.
After completing my 2 months of subscription, I enrolled for the 3rd month and decided to take my GMAT just one week after the enrollment. I took the online GMAT at home and scored a 710 (Q48 V40).
If I had one more month, I'm sure that I could have scores 750+ with the type of content TTP provides. But as I'm planning to apply in R2, I'm going ahead with a 710.
I can't thank enough to TTP for creating this amazing verbal course. The must knows are fantastic and the quality of questions is very impressive. A highly recommended course for anyone looking to improve hi//her score.
