Strengths:
TTP is hands down the most comprehensive Quant resource out there. It doesn’t just teach you how to solve questions—it teaches you how to think like the GMAT expects.
• Crystal-clear lessons: Every topic is broken down with detailed logic, rules, and examples. I finally understood number properties and word problems after struggling with them for weeks.
• Milestone quizzes: You don’t move forward until you’ve truly mastered a topic. The platform forces you to build a rock-solid foundation.
• Custom practice engine: I loved being able to filter questions by topic, difficulty, and even my past performance. Super efficient for review.
Personally, i came in with a good quant background and my worry was verbal. TTP is the verbal underdog i would say. It is mostly advertised by people for how strong it is in quant and DI but let me tell you the verbal lessons are just as amazing.
Overall helped me increase my score from a cold 615 to a 715 in 2 months!!!
Hey everyone,
Just wanted to share my GMAT journey—especially for anyone feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure where to begin. I started with a cold score of 615, and after 2 months of focused, structured prep, I walked out of the test center with a 715 (Q87, V88, DI82). This was my first official attempt, and TTP was without a doubt the key to my score jump.
Background
Coming from an engineering background, I wasn’t too intimidated by Quant. But I knew GMAT Quant is tricky in its own way, and I didn’t want to take any chances. Verbal, on the other hand, was the real concern. I didn’t have a strategy, and I lacked consistency in accuracy. I needed something that was structured and efficient—enter Target Test Prep (TTP).
Why I Chose TTP
I read a lot of reviews (GMAT Club, Reddit) and noticed one common theme: TTP works if you commit to it. So I signed up and stuck to their plan. It’s not flashy or gimmicky—it’s deep, structured, and built to help you build mastery step-by-step.
Quant – TTP’s Crown Jewel
TTP is hands down the most comprehensive Quant resource out there. It doesn’t just teach you how to solve questions—it teaches you how to think like the GMAT expects. Even with a decent quant background, I found myself improving dramatically in accuracy, pacing, and confidence.
Crystal-clear lessons: Every topic is broken down with detailed logic, rules, and examples. I finally understood number properties and word problems after struggling with them for weeks.
Milestone quizzes: You can’t move forward until you’ve truly mastered a topic. This was frustrating at times, but exactly what I needed.
Custom practice engine: One of my favorite features. I loved being able to filter questions by topic, difficulty, and even past performance. It made review super efficient.
By the end, I was consistently scoring Q90 on practice sets, and hit the Q87 in Quant on test day.
Verbal – TTP’s Underrated Secret Weapon
Personally, I came in with a good Quant background and my worry was Verbal. TTP is often marketed for its Quant and DI strengths—but Verbal was where I saw the most surprising progress
CR & RC: Logical, concise explanations. Helped me approach each question type with a clear plan instead of guessing.
I ended up scoring V88 in Verbal, which was honestly beyond what I expected.
Study Timeline
Followed the timeline suggested by TTP exactly. I remember doubting this timeline a lot at start and even reaching out to Jeff from TTP doubting it but he told me to trust the plan and stick to it and maybe just skip a few easy exams if i feel too comfortable.
Test Day (In-Person)
I took the exam at a test center. Everything was smooth: staff were professional, noise was minimal, and I took both breaks. The real exam felt very similar to TTP practice—in both style and logic.
Quant was slightly trickier than expected, but I was prepared.
Verbal felt fair—timing was the real battle, but TTP’s structure helped me stay calm.
DI was manageable, and I wasn’t thrown off by any weird formats thanks to TTP’s data-heavy practice sets.
Final Thoughts
TTP isn’t a shortcut—it’s a system. And if you stick to it, it works. Whether you’re starting from a 600 or trying to push into the 700s, it gives you the structure, clarity, and repetition you need to improve.
What surprised me most: How good the Verbal section was. Honestly deserves way more credit than it gets
Strengths:
Structured to perfection, UX is greatly designed to keep you grounded and on track, ensuring you did everything you could to prepare. I loved the frequent topic reviews, truly helps you build your ability to focus and answer questions correctly with a good pace.
Would make the product better:
I found some of the verbal sections repetitive. I'd have loved to see some comparison across questions types (i.e. matrix style showing how typical errors show across question types). Nevertheless, the practicing tool was great. I scored a perfect 90 as a non native english speaker.
A must have product at an excellent price. I don't believe it's worth it having an expensive private tutor. I believe getting a great GMAT score is about learning how to focus, and the TTP is an excellent tool for practicing and improving that skill. I initially rushed through the sections and did not get the score I knew I could get (only improved from 690 to 710). I decided to reset the schedule and follow the pace suggested by TTP. By the time I could re-take the exam, I had to adapt to the FOCUS format, scoring a 695. I found TTP to be an excellent tool for both versions of the exam. Can genuinely say this having taken the exam by studying from GMAT books (useless) and YouTube videos (helpful to understand the logic for some problems, but it's not enough to build the pace you need to do great on exam day). During that time I felt like I could solve any problem, but still underperformed on exam day.
Strengths:
The course is an all-encompassing tool for GMAT preparation. I went in knowing essentially nothing about the test, and the course did a great job of teaching me everything I needed to know. This included section-specific study materials and practice quizzes, information on the test conventions and modalities, mindset advice, and more. The course was quite literally the only tool I used to prepare; it is a one-stop-shop for GMAT preparation.
Would make the product better:
The only small area for improvement in the course was that, at least personally, I found the estimated times required to complete certain readings to be overestimated. This is more of just an observation rather than a complaint.
Coming from a health sciences background, deciding to write the GMAT was daunting. I knew nothing of the material or the test itself. I read some stellar reviews and decided to give TTP a shot. After a week-long free trail, I was sold. The course took my availability and made me a study plan that fit my pace and was flexible enough for me to alter when needed. I followed the prescribed timeline closely and wrote the two free practice tests on mba.com. On my first attempt at the GMAT focus, I scored a 695, 98th percentile. I was thrilled with this score, and would recommend the course to anyone and everyone interested in writing the GMAT.

Strengths:
Structured learning path, comprehensive and with an easy-to-update and consult error log. explanations are really detailed and teach you all the tricks you need to tackle the exam. most importantly, you'll have a strategy for the vast majority of the questions, helping you to save lots of time and improve efficacy
Would make the product better:
I would recommend to slightly improve the data insights part: I felt that there is some margins in terms of question variability. It still prepares very well, but more variability would not cause harm.
The key strengths are the extensive and detailed learning paths. You will surely find all the topics and tips you'll need to develop a solid understanding of the core concept tested on GMAT, along with both time-saving tips and of the background elements that help you NOT to memorise. Memory will likely fail, so the important thing that TTP insists on is that it develops structured reasoning and effective strategies.
Strategy is the main thing here: a thing I've felt is that when I did the exam, I had a strategy and a way to tackle the questions for most of them, something in the previous attempt I didn't have. This way, I improved by 5 points in QR and 4 in DI, mostly due to improved time management thanks to focused strategies.
In short, you'll find anything you need and delivered in a way to make your learning path as efficient and effective as possible
Strengths:
Extremely thorough, easy to use and understand, and the professor was extremely friendly
TTP's self study is a very thorough platform that walks you through all the content that you could possibly see in the GMAT focus across all sections. I found it to be extremely easy to use and all the material was made perfectly for me to understand. I also did the LiveTeach class and it was a great supplement to the self study because it allowed (1) to ask questions to a GMAT expert on content we were learning but also (2) allowed me to vocalize my thought process when answering Quant, Verbal and DI sections which would solidify my understanding of the concepts. The instructor was incredible! I would 10/10 recommend to use TTP

Strengths:
Target Test Prep is extremely structured, making it easy to self-study based on my schedule. It provides a lot of flexibility to adjust based on your schedule, allowing you to make consistent progress. TTP is thorough, covering every topic on the test in detail. The ability to sort by problem types is extremely helpful to drill particular topics.
Would make the product better:
More problems would be great to study once completing the course.
I enjoyed using TTP, as it was an affordable option to self study for the GMAT Focus exam. I had taken the GMAT classic several years ago, and attempted to study on my own solely through books and forums. This was not enough for me to score in the range I wanted to land in. I decided to try TTP, and it was an effective one-stop solution to help me get a desired score on my first attempt. The program was helpful in the learning phase of the studying, as well as the drilling phase when I was taking mock exams leading up to my test date. Overall, TTP is a great option to affordably tackle the GMAT.
Strengths:
The quantitative and data insight sections were the highlight of this product for me.
Would make the product better:
Nothing I would improve, I had an excellent experience with the site.
I used TTP to raise my proficiency in the quantitative section of the GMAT from advanced to mastery. The course is completely comprehensive and will ensure that all of your bases are covered on the quant section going into test day. I made sure to do every single quant chapter exam to drill home the concepts that were taught in the lessons. I only had a very short amount of time between my first GMAT exam and my second GMAT exam (3 weeks) and I invested all of that time into reviewing using TTP. This resulted in a 60 point score increase for me and a 99th percentile GMAT FE score!

Strengths:
The sheer volume of test prep materials is impressive. The best part of this service is being able to pick and choose what I want to study from their materials based on what I need to get my ideal score.
Would make the product better:
I would appreciate a more thorough diagnostic / practice test experience. Although I was very prepared with the actual test material when test day came, I felt like they could offer more practice tests so I could simulate the testing environment, instead of just practice questions.
Overall, I would recommend this program to anyone interested in taking the GMAT seriously. It is extremely thorough for those that have lots of free time and very customizable for those that are constrained. I personally spent almost all of my time with the quantitative materials and appreciated how they were sorted in a way that made them digestible in shorter periods of time for when I couldn't sit down for three hours. I would also recommend taking the test as early as possible so that you can isolate the topics you need to study. Making the investment in a serious test prep course helped me take the preparation seriously and get the score I was looking for.

Strengths:
This program was super in depth and took me from not having taken math classes in college to getting a 715 on the Gmat Focus.
Would make the product better:
Condense some content, it is a lot
Target Test Prep was fantastic for me. I remember taking my first GMAT focus practice test assured I would do well and getting an awfully low score for my goals (don't remember the exact score but somewhere in the 500s). I dedicated the next 10 months or so to TTP studying everyday and on my first real test got 715 (99th percentile). Can't thank them enough for the amazing course. Like many others I struggled with the quant and data insights. My data insights score actually went up the most and ended up being my strong point (99th percentile,) verbal 98th quant 76th with overall still 99th percentile.
Strengths:
Their strengths are the amount of questions and the quality of chapters that provide all the question types with the ideal approach to each of them.
Would make the product better:
AI tutor helped me a lot especially in the verbal section as the answers are all tailored to your concern, but sometimes, it seems like their answers are restricted by the question answer explanations. And, when I point some flaws out, they admit it, but there is not a structured way of reporting typing mistake or grammatically wrong sentences. If there is one, the course will be able to utilise AI fully.
The main strength I perceived is the amount of questions they have. As a Japanese national, verbal section was going to be the hardest part, but GMAT's quant section was new to me and despite my strength in maths, I did not know what to expect from the exam and the ideal approach, and I struggled with the time management. So, the TTP's comprehensive course and the amount of questions helped me exploit my strength. This was the certainly the case for the verbal section, but on top of that, their chapters covered all the question type with the approach that I should take. Even though I was in around the 30th percentile and sometimes 4th percentile, but within 3 month, I got 98th percentile in the official exam. So, I am sure this course works even for total beginners like I was.
