I would like to start by thanking Scott and TTP team in helping me get a 750 in GMAT!

I started prepping again for my GMAT in mid of June 2021. I had just about a month to prep for the exam and my mock test results were stuck at 680-690 (MGMAT and E-Gmat). I was consistently working through over 150 questions every day but even after 10 days my scores did not improve. I realised that I needed to use some GMAT course material to help me. I spent about 1 week exploring Target Test Prep's trial course and also tried courses with 2 other companies. I just loved the TTP's quant and SC coursework so I purchased their Flexible study plan for just $99.

What stood out among other test prep companies was the easy to read, thorough and neatly organised text explanations of each and every concept you would need with examples (with solutions) within every topic. I preferred this over other companies course because for me, this was much better and faster compared to going over hundreds of videos and animations in other courses (which is just extremely time consuming). I could just skim over the most basic concepts and focus my attention on more important topics. The flexible nature of this course just helped me immensely in going over the necessary concepts at a brisk pace (given my time constraint).

The other things I loved about the quant course specifically was the custom tests and chapter-wise tests, and practice questions. They have a big question bank with questions clearly separated into chapters and difficulty level. This helped me a lot in pin-pointing my week areas E.g. I was always of the view that Probability was my weakest area but as it turned out it was number properties. :)

The only drawback with the course is that they still don't have a CR specific coursework but I believe CR can be improved with just practice of questions on the GMATCLUB.

I would highly recommend TTP's course for anyone who is constraint by time like me.

I would also like to thank the GMATCLUB team and community for the vast, never ending question bank. The practice of these questions on the GMATCLUB helped me be more confident on the test day. The timer feature really helped me improve my speed in solving the RC questions.

I am excited to say that my GMAT journey has come to an end with a score of 760 (Q47, V49). There were times that I didn't think it would be possible, times that I seriously considered quitting, but I finally beat the GMAT. And you can too.

My success would not have been possible without Target Test Prep (TTP) and all of their incredible resources. I'd tried various other online courses before I came across TTP, and I can guarantee that there is no other study program as good as TTP. My greatest weakness was the quant section and this is where the TTP quant study program came in exceptionally handy. TTP's diagnostic test is highly accurate and the step-by-step study program that they offer makes learning each quant topic seem manageable, even enjoyable. Before moving to TTP, I had thought of the quant section as one "whole unit" that I needed to crack, and I hadn't even considered breaking up the quant section into the various subtopics that it tests. TTP did exactly this for me and it allowed me to see which quant areas I needed to focus on more than others (eg: my geometry was strong, but my number properties and foundations were weak). TTP's study program gives amazing tips and tricks for tackling quant questions, and by the end of the course, I felt like I could do many of the GMAT quant questions on autopilot, which proved so helpful for the real, more nerve-wracking exam environment.

I didn't use TTP's verbal program as I already felt quite confident in that section (I had been consistently scoring V49 in practice tests), but I have heard wonderful things about their verbal course and would have absolutely moved onto it if the verbal section hadn't gone to plan in my GMAT exam. Overall, TTP took me from scoring 680/690 (and feeling like I would never crack the GMAT) to 760, and I'm so grateful to have found this amazing online course. I couldn't recommend it enough - thank you Scott and the rest of the team at TTP!

After months of studying both the Kaplan and Manhattan self paced courses I felt ready for the GMAT, but on test day I lost track of my pacing and whiffed on some easy questions, only scoring a 660. I felt distraught and wasn't sure if I was even going to try again. After reading about so many successful test takers using TTP I decided to give it a try.

The first thing that I noticed was how exhaustive the content was. Every single possible problem you may encounter is covered and their self paced learning allows you the ability to take it at your own pace but keeps you on track by reminding you about best practices. The chapter quizzes are broken into 15 question sections so they feel light, but in actuality you are doing half a quant section! By the end of my studying I was nailing the official guide practice tests like I never had before. Taking the GMAT became second nature and when I was in the testing center it felt that way. I thought my initial failure was because of nerves, but those nerves arose because I didn't have all the help I needed. TTP gives you that help and if you take advantage of the material, your hard work will pay off.

After trying other top providers, I switched to Target Test Prep after hearing others' success stories on Reddit. The TTP platform is top of the line, the content is intuitive and incredibly well-structured and the TTP team is heavily involved in customer success. Any time I had specific questions I could reach out directly to Marty, Jeff or Scott and get a helpful response quickly. The Quant product is second to none and completely standalone. The verbal offering is also extremely thorough and was instrumental in my success on the verbal portion. I would recommend TTP to anyone taking the GMAT.

I took a dry mock in December of 2020 to see where i stand (I had in mind a goal score of 700 to be competitive at target schools). 32Q 33V for a 550 showed up on my screen. I thought I had a long road ahead of me for Q, not only did I not even know where to start on some questions, but on the ones I did know how to do I would easily fall for the trap answers.

I did some research over the next month, and it seemed like the consensus was that TTP was the gold standard of quant courses. After completing the 6 month maximum learning package, I wholeheartedly agree with the consensus.

TTP is not some magic course that will give you a cheat code or gimmicks that will give you the "most of the time this will work type" of strategies. TTP literally lays out every single question type that is possible, and then drills the learning and solution into your brain over and over and over again. It is not rocket science, this is the most comprehensive course and will require you to stay very disciplined. It is not a course where you can take short cuts and expect to get a great score. TTP sets you up for success, and if you have the self control and patience to make it through the entire structured program, you will hit your target score.

Test day came around and I improved my Q to a 48 and V to a 38. This is after 5 months of intense and regimented studying using the TTP structure while also balancing a full time job. I cannot stress enough that if you are disciplined, TTP lays out every single scenario possible in easily consumable fashion. A+ rating from me and I would not have hit my target score if it was not for TTP.

Hi all,

Just wanted to share my review of TTP for my GMAT studies. Prior to starting TTP in late December, I had tried self study for about two months. I then took a practice test and performed miserably. I realized that after being out of school for 10 years I needed focused practice.

I checked out a bunch of courses and decided to give TTP a try. Signed up first for their 1 week program and fell in love with the teaching style. My math was horrible (and I mean I didn't know how to divide fractions horrible) and they did a fantastic job teaching me the basics once again.

Their verbal course is also great, although I think its much more intuitive for native english speakers than non-native speakers. I received it free as its in beta, but honestly it feels like a complete course for free.

After 5 months I took my first test and scored a 700 Q47, V39. I really wanted to hit the Q49, V40+ barrier so I took another three weeks, reached out to TTP's Jeff who shared a personalized program, and rewrote the test to score a 720 Q48, V41. I honestly probably could have scored higher but decided to move forward with this score given I have a bit of a non-traditional profile/URM.

In summary, TTP was a lifesaver and I owe a large part of my success to their courses. Thank you guys!

TTP was absolutely vital in scoring a 720 on the GMAT. I could not have improved my quant score so much without Target Test Prep. Scott and his team are also available for any questions you might have and to offer support when you need it, they genuinely care about you doing well on the GMAT. I ended up using their verbal lessons as well and they structure each lesson is the way that is going to push you to get that higher score. They also have lessons for IR and the AWA and I found their AWA structure to be a really great resource for planning your essay. Couldn't recommend them enough.

I used TTP for 1 month to brush up my prep. Their quant contents are just superior to anything I have ever seen. Someone scoring Q25 or above will benefit from the contents tremendously. However, lessons are super detailed and lengthym, for a good reason though. Be aware though, lessons are in text form so if you are more into video lessons, I would recommend you to find something else. That said, solutions of the problems are in video form as well. Overall, a great experience. They do lack verbal part though.

I would encourage people who seriously considering to up their quant score to seriously consider TTP.

TTP is a revolutionary test prep option, for a very fair price. It has more than everything you need to beat the GMAT. You just have to trust the process–one thing to note about TTP is that it takes time. To really make progress there are no shortcuts: you need to read all the lessons, complete all the tests, and do all the review. Expect to budget over 150 hours for serious progress in quant alone.

My only constructive feedback is that they might like to incorporate some OG work into the mission structure. I found going through OG problems alongside TTP to be very useful, to see the variety of possible GMAT questions.

If you are looking to beat the GMAT, TTP should be your first and only stop.

TLDR: Having tried multiple resources over the course of 12 months, this was the best that I found.

I have used GMAT official guides, Manhattan prep materials, and Math revolution. The first of these doesn't go nearly far enough to get a top score. A common thread in the unofficial materials is that they bulk out their material and call it added value. Manhattan makes you pay for a set of thick books, but when you look at the chapter structure for example they split up the strategy chapters for no other reason than that it allows them to state the same material some 4 times, as a reminder. Math revolution advertises some large number of hours of video content but if you watch the videos each opens and closes with a slow title and again, often repetitive content. This goes further than lacking substance, it detracts from the value of the product as it cuts into your time to discern the value from deliberately included BS.

TTP made the most of my time. All lessons in the quant section were direct and to the point, explaining each topic only so far as I needed to know. After completing all the material you then have a huge question bank to work through. The hard questions are probably harder than what you'll see on the day in many cases, but are excellent examples to test what you've learned. On completion of a practice test you can bookmark problems that you struggled with or guessed, then compile custom tests made up solely of those questions you found tricky. I loved that feature as I got close to test day and wanted to find problems that I knew would inch me closer to the score I wanted.

The newly completed verbal section is not as good. Sometimes it can be long-winded, again unfortunately seeming to pad itself out with examples, or oddly structured, opening with an exception to a rule then going into what the rule was.

Beyond the materials the presentation of the site is great and customer service is highly responsive.

To make the most of the course takes far more than a month in my experience, so be ready for that, but otherwise this is my number 1 recommendation for GMAT prep after you have used the official guide to understand the structure of the test.
