TTP was super helpful in building on my foundation in quant. I used the accelerated track since I had already done quite a bit with Manhattan Prep. TTP did a great job of introducing not only all the types of problems, but all their variations as well. It was super thorough and the biggest help was the large number of hard level chapter tests. There were especially sections like combinations, permutations, and probability that were way more in depth than some of the other prep books I had already done. I can't speak much about Verbal since I only used TTP for quant, but from a quant standpoint it was more than enough to raise my score quite a bit. Highly recommend TTP.
Target test prep helped my preparation a lot. It is a great learning tool especially for Quant with problems similar to the ones on the actual GMAT. Would highly recommend it. It takes a few months to properly go through the course, so make sure you start early to get the most benefit out of it.
The techniques to ace the CR section are also very well explained and helped me a lot to strategically tackle these questions.
Sentence correction is also very well explained and highlights many common pitfalls in the SC questions. I would suggest practice the OG guides too on the side for the best results.
With the help of TTP I went from a Q40 to Q49. TTP is just the right course, if you really want to achieve in-depth knowledge and skills for the qualitative section of the GMAT. So many GMAT like questions as well as excellent explanations. This course is unbeatable. Highly recommend it to any person, who wants to score high in the quantitive section of the GMAT.
Additionally, TTP launched a verbal section, but unfortunately just at the end of my preparation phase, so I did not fully use it. Still, the theoretical part was very extensive and gave me some knowledge I did not possess before.
Good job!!!
I signed up for Target Test Prep's 4 month plan and went through the entire curriculum prior to taking my first exam. I was hoping to improve my 650-680 initial score to a 730-740 in order to get into my target schools. After getting a 710, I reached out to Jeff and Scott, who created a 1-month study plan that got me to my goal of a 730. The quant study materials are very thorough and helpful. Each module provides guided examples and quizzes to practice one's knowledge. There is also an extensive test bank that can be customized to redo incorrect answers or ones that take longer than two minutes. The verbal modules, while not quite as helpful in my opinion, also provided a strong base of knowledge for the critical reasoning and sentence correction questions. Overall, TTP was very useful in helping me reach my goals on the GMAT. I would recommend the service to others and encourage them to work through all the modules.

Verified GMAT Classic score:
700 Q48 V38 (Online)
The TTP Course is hands-down the best course out there for quant.
Pros:
1) All you need to build a solid quant foundation
2) The lessons build on each other
3) The TTP team is super responsive - Scott, Jeff & Marty respond to queries very fast
Cons:
1) A bit expensive (~20% of monthly pay check for many Indian students)
FAQ:
Q: Will I get a 700+ score if I complete TTP?
A: TTP will help you lay a solid foundation for quant & verbal. Once you have studied the basics, it's a matter of practice. One has to keep solving questions & taking tests till the target score is reached. TTP was one of the key pillars of my own study. It helped me go from a 640 (Q39 V39) to a 700 (Q48 V38) in the actual GMAT (Online).
Q: How long does it take to complete TTP?
A: It took me 6 months (2 hrs. daily) to complete the course. YMMV.
Q: Is the TTP Verbal content good?
A: When I was practicing from TTP, their Verbal content was in beta stage. I was happy with the content.
TLDR: If you are looking for one course for all your GMAT needs, you can't go wrong with TTP.
Honestly, TTP was incredible. Everything was set up for me from lesson plans, practice problems, etc. It was just a great way to know what to study and when, and there wasn't too much outside of TTP that I needed. One thing that I also appreciated was the "assigned readings" which outlined the test, strategy, and ways to improve. That was equally as important as the actual material in most cases. Additionally, after I took my first GMAT and wanted to take it again, Scott gave me two weeks for free which was incredibly cool of him.
I would recommend TTP to anyone.
Before stumbling upon TTP, I had spent 7+ months paying for self-paced and instructor-led courses with other test prep companies. No matter how hard I studied, I could never get past a 690 on the GMAT (specifically, I was stuck at V43). I was losing confidence by the day. After only 2 months of self-paced studying with TTP, I improved my quant score to 45/47 range and V44, with an overall score of 720. TTP was tremendously helpful in achieving this score with what felt like minimal effort! I went from studying 15-20 hours a week with no concrete plan or strategy to 10-12 hours a week. TTP material is way more digestible, fun, and easy to apply. Highly recommend!!!!
Target test prep was key for my GMAT score. I have used other platforms before, but none of them provided me with top content on a great platform. This was extremely important for me to have a good view of my performance over time and decide where to focus my efforts to increase performance in my weak areas.
I used it for two months for both quant and verbal. It was important to have a clear view of how I was doing, something I did not have in other platforms, in order to prioritize my time and decide what to study next. I believe we all have busy work schedules and it is difficult to find time to study at this point in our careers, but what I found out is that having a platform that helps you prioritizing what to study is extremely important to succeed.

After reading all of the glowing reviews online (Reddit especially) I really expected to be blown away by TTP. It was pretty good and definitely comprehensive, but there were a fair number of drawbacks to be considered. I consider it a useful tool to supplement your prepwork - if you're only using TTP and no OG materials you will have a bad time in trying to achieve a top-tier quant score imo (see my score for reference lol, still trying for it).
The quant materials are undeniably thorough; if you're a total beginner to quant this course will help you master the foundations. They drill the most basic concepts into you over and over. But the TTP quant questions are incredibly straightforward, even at the hardest difficulty levels, and they won't teach you the common "tricks" that browsing 600-700 level OG questions on here would. It won't teach you any novel test-taking strategies either.
I would recommend TTP if only to use as a foundation for drilling OG questions either here or through Wiley's site. I don't regret the money I spent on it but I'm also a bit confused by all of the rave reviews, as if the course has no flaws.
I thought I could get a good GMAT quant score just by brushing up on my maths concepts. Easy right? Not at all. The GMAT quant section is a different beast, and I was not prepared for it. I realised I had gaping holes in some of my concepts. After wasting a couple of months studying from a few popular books, I finally signed up for TTP. I had seen glowing reviews, but did not imagine the course to be this thorough.
Each module first explains the concepts, and then drills them into your head with the sectional tests. I did all the modules and all the sectional, and review tests in order. It definitely took me some time, but do keep in mind the course is front loaded i.e. the first few modules take longer to complete. I spend 250+ hours on the platform and solved over 3500 problems. The fact that the platform is so well designed and thought-out also helps.
When I started taking Practice Tests, I felt great. No question type felt unfamiliar, and that was true even for the actual GMAT. I used the practice tests to better my timing strategy - which was also something the TTP team covered during the initial strategy call they offer.
The verbal module is also great, and very very extensive. I personally did not complete the whole thing, but if you have the time, I highly recommend it.
