This seems more like an ad from 'Arbor'. I have my doubts about the authenticity of this debrief.
There is no study plan, there are no detailed scores of mocks and previous GMAT exams, just putting down two test prep companies and putting up Arbor.

But if this is genuine, my apologies to you and I would love to know about your study plan in detail. Thank you.

I have the same opinion. It's better to share how you practiced, what material you used and how you could break 700 barrier rather than showing just some names of GMAT Prep companies.

It took me almost a year to get from my score of 480 up to 760. Here's how I did it:

I first took the actual GMAT cold (very little prep) back in Jan 2016. I decided at the last minute to apply to B-School and I didn't want to miss any more deadlines, so I just found an open slot and took it. I bombed it. 480.

My fiends then told me to try Veritas, so I did and spent a lot of time and some money and ended up at a 520. Not exactly a good return on investment.

Some others in my class were going to do Manhattan, so I went along and spent more time and money and took the GMAT again and got a 580.

So steady improvement, but nothing spectacular. I think the marketing departments of those companies do a good job at making you think you will sign up and magically get above 700 and get into Harvard.

I went to a decent (top 20) university and I am from a very accomplished family and I have a good job at a well-known company. I'm no slouch.

I was incredibly frustrated (as were my fellow students). The Veritas class was a waste for me. MGMAT was strange. The tests and problems didn't really match the actual exam that well.

By now it was September of 2016 and I had already spent 8 months on the GMAT. I thought I'd give it one last try: private tutoring.

Tutoring isn't cheap (several thousand dollars), but it's effective. I found a well-regarded company online (Arbor) and bought a package with a score guarantee of 700 or above. It actually worked. I met with two tutors (one for Verbal and one for Quant) a couple of times a week and had a personalized plan. They had their own material which was helpful. This was different because it was more like personal training in a lot of ways. I don't think I could have done this on my own. It was definitely an investment but I wish I would have started with this instead of wasting time on classes.

So the moral of the story is this: keep at it and find what works best for you. I'd highly recommend private tutoring over classes because it worked for me. I feel this is an investment and I hope to get a good ROI on my time and money.

Also, Arbor helped me with my apps and I was accepted into my top 2 choices.

Good luck!

Hi Congratulations on your great score. Could you please elaborate on your GMAT prep experience. Could you share the practice tests you took and your score?
Further if you can share any test taking advice that worked well for you will be highly appreciated. Thanks

What were the materials used while using the private tutor? Could you please elaborate the split up of scores? Going from 480 to 760 is very very hard and it would be helpful if we could get a detailed study plan.
