Hi jaw93,
While it might be tempting to think of your studies in terms of "quantity", the more relevant issue is the "quality" of your study (and the study materials that you work with). With an August 3rd Test Date, you have about 5 weeks of study time - and you could potentially improve a great deal in that time if you focus on developing the proper skills.
While I would agree that it would be a good idea for you to take one of the Official GMAC CATs next (in a manner that 'matches up' with Test Day), the idea that the GMAC CATs are the only ones that provide an accurate score result is incorrect. The CATs available from Kaplan,
MGMAT and Veritas are all 'close enough' to the real thing that they will provide a reasonably accurate score result (assuming that you take the CAT in a realistic fashion).
After reviewing each section of this CAT, how many questions did you get wrong....
1) Because of a silly/little mistake?
2) Because there was some math/verbal that you just could not remember how to do?
3) Because the question was too hard?
4) Because you were low on time and had to guess?
GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
