Dear All,
I have been pondering on this question for a while. I later reached a conclusion that I might be able to get the answer here. Please what is the typical total number of 700-level questions a person will be given in the official GMAT for one to get a score of Q51 and V45-V51?
Also, what is the question distribution for the format of 31 quant questions and 36 verbal questions. I mean the number of PS, DS, RC, CR and SC one should expect in the exam. Also, how many comprehension passages should one be expecting?
I will appreciate answers to these questions.
Thank you.
Your first question is a really tough one. I understand why you would want that information, but it really is not possible to answer that question. At the highest score levels, the GMAT is not particularly adaptive, and your score will come down almost entirely to your accuracy. That is, you'll need to maintain a very high level of accuracy in both sections to get the scores you mentioned.
1. The GMAT does not measure question difficulty on a 200-800 scale.
2. PS (~17-18), DS (~13-14), SC (~12-13), CR (~9-10), and RC (~13-14)
3. 4 passages, always.
