Thanks a lot guys.

haardiksharma, I'm a Canadian finance grad with a political science minor from University of Toronto and have been working for a little over 1.5 years as an accountant at a hedge fund. CGPA of 3.6/4.0 and I have a lot of extra cocurriculars as I have held two executive level positions in student run clubs, have had three internships along with active participation in debate clubs and Model United Nations, for which I've won numerous awards in both national and international level competitions.

For CR, it was never a weak spot for me so I didn't do any specific prep for it though I did watch the strategy video from Magoosh.

For SC, I watched the Magoosh videos, especially concerning splits, which helped me greatly. I must mention though that being a voracious reader helped me a lot in terms of developing a strong understanding of sentence structure and vocabulary. The Model United Nations docs can be pretty dense as well and since I have a strong essay writing background, I was able to pick up the grammar bits quicker. That being said, a nice trick I picked up was to mentally erase unnecessary information from the SC sentences. Specifically, I would try and get rid of adjectives and any flowery language I came across as I felt that it was much easier to deal with shorter and simpler sentences.

Hope this helps!
