Use herons formula find the semi perimeter that is sum of sides divided by 2 you have three sides now use the formula that is square root of s( s-a)(s-b)(s-c) where s is the semi perimeter and a,b,c are three sides of the triangle what area you get multiply by 2 .

Kindly try yourself I am always open to learn

Let l be height of the parallelogram

Then l^2 + x^2= 14^2

Therefore l^2 = 196-x^2
d^2= l^2 + (30+x)^2
40^2 = 192-x^2 +900 + x^2 + 60x
x= 8.4

Area of parallelogram = H * B
= l*30
= 11.2 * 30= 336
