Around the World in Eighty Days is not based on a true story, it is actually completely fictional.

Can the 30 timer questions be taken in Forum quiz or need to be taken normally by going on each post

I think both would work because the guidelines say (below) -> Any questions not just new questions. If we do solve in quiz mode and get mixed questions (existing + contest ones) then also each attempt would get counted.

Bonus 4: 50 Competition Points
Taking 30 timers in one day (Points awarded at Noon PST the following day)
Any questions in the DS/PS/CR/SC forums (RC is not eligible) taken during competition days

Once Monday comes, you will be able to see the points you earn as well as the points your team earns. The rankings will be almost live and will depend on the activity of all the members of the teams!

Good luck everyone!
BB.

Hi. Thanks for the question. It is 30 timers taken in any way which can include using the Forum Quiz or the Mobile App or the regular navigation via forum. As long as you see and have your attempts recorded in the Error Log, you are good to go. I would recommend checking your error log and changing your time zone to US Pacific Time zone so you have 30. We have had people take just a 1-2 fewer due to time zone misunderstanding and the way the computer counts.

hey bb and moderators. Thanks for putting together something like this. Excited to participate and have fun solving never-seen-before questions!!

The post says each user is limited to one prize. But as per prize list, ALL members of winning team are eligible for
1. GMAT Club test Pro - 2 weeks access
2. GMAT Club forum quiz - 1 month access

So, will the winning team members be asked to choose one among the two above? or one of the two will be randomly allotted from your end? or all members will get both the prizes which they can claim on or before September 1st? Can you please give clarity on this part of the prizes give away?

bb,
Quote:
Max daily Competition points per person per question: 180.

What does this above statement mean?
From what I can see, the max points that can possibly be earned per question is 130? So how can someone even get to 180?
10 Points per timer Timer Taken & Correctly Answered Question.
Bonus 1: 10 Competition Points Taking the Timer in the first 120 minutes.
Bonus 2: 10 Competition Points Posting an explanation.
Bonus 3*: 100 Competition Points Getting a Kudos from a moderator.
100+10+10+10 = 130; ?

Ah. Sorry about that. Thank you. You right. I added 50 from the single timer daily bonus. Thx for bringing it up. I updated the first post to describe it accurately.

Cheers. I was thinking that it might be that one person can only get max. 180 points per day or something along those lines and that it was a typo or something and so the reason why I asked "what does this above statement mean?" :P
Thanks for clearing it up. :)

Hi. Thank you for the question. The test and quiz access will be enabled on Aug 1 for the winning team. There are hundreds of members in each team and it will be very complicated in laborious to provide choice or options for enabling access so everyone will get access at the same time to the same products.
