FYI: To be eligible for kudos in verbal questions , it is important not only to provide and explain the correct answer but also to explain the other options.

Sorry about that. That sucks. But it’s a part of the process that helps you prepare for the GMAT and be stronger and better at it. Yes. Your timer is independent of the explanation.
