Ok, quite the list. R2 is the only option for a few of these. I’d only submit if you have everything else (essays/resume/lors) polished and ready to go with confidence. Otherwise, you’d have a much better package for eval in Round 2.

For MiM in US 655 is good. For French schools less competitive, more average. You’ll want to maximize your internship and volunteer work to help compensate as a team player and leader.

Hi - Impressive stats + CFA L1 + Internships- this will be very helpful in MiF applications. These are what will make you successful academically and professionally. The ECs will make you a good student/cohort member. I’d be confident going into applications with strong essays.

Understood, my question stems from this precedent that R1 is unanimously the better choice as an Indian male applicant applying to top schools, and that’s why I wanted to understand if the difference is really that big when applying between R1 and R2 or marginal with a strong profile?

Hi - 1. Its good, any internships? or anything else to make you stand out?
2. I would recommend around 675
3. Try to find ways to connect to your post-grad goals - infuse passion and give them a strong "why"

I have completed my 12 month professional internship during mbbs where i worked in various clinical departments under various doctors and supervised nursing, lab staff, could it be possible i could link that to my leadership, managerial potential in any way?

unanimously among applicants, but not adcoms. Adcoms tend to admit a %of applicants from different demographics each round, not all in Round 1. So they won’t admit all Indians for the cycle in R1, they are holding space for strong Indian candidates in R2 and R3 as well. Its better to put your best application forward - especially if you have a mediocre/average score and OK essays.
