Hi ExpertsGlobal, thanks for your response. This was really helpful. Based on my research on various forums, it seems that one don’t need passport anywhere while creating a profile or booking an appointment for the GMAT at test centre. However, it is required on the day of test, where one has to present a valid passport, and the details like name, date of birth should exactly match on both passport and application. Please, let me know if my understanding in correct. Also do I really need to update passport details, as I don’t really think I was asked about passport details while creating the application or booking the test appointment. Thanks a lot for helping on this, really appreciate the guidance !
Hi Ruthless,

Your understanding about all aspects is correct. The name and date of birth will be matched.

No details need to be updated per se.

Thanks.

All the best!

Hi versewriter,

Good to see the stable career trajectory and progressive managerial experience.

Considering the years of experience are on the higher end of the spectrum, targeting 1 year programs in Europe would be ideal.

Please leave an inquiry for a free strategy session with us, so we can duly guide you: https://www.expertsglobal.com/mba-admissions-consulting

All the best!

Hi experts,
Please evaluate my profile for my masters.

I am aiming to pursue my masters from australia. My targeted programmes are MBA and Masters in business analytics.

Profile-
10th - 10cgpa (cbse)
12th - 87% (cbse)
Undergrad - B.Com - 8.5gpa
Institution - Mithibai college, Mumbai University
Graduated in 2022
Work experience - 4 years( will be 5 till my jan intake)

Gmat fe - 615 ( will retake it, bad score because of circumstantial reasons )

During my under-graduation, covid happened, so i joined a construction company as a sales associate and soon got promoted to sales manager for that residential project. But since i was still in college it will be counted as an internship. I also joined an apparel distribution firm afterwards and after completing my graduation joined the same firm full time as the sales and marketing head. I also started my ayurvedic product brand during that time which i then shelved after 8-9 months and started my own startup of a brand agency which i am currently engaged in and its growing good.
However i feel that with the limited knowledge and exposure i hold, theres only so much i can do right now and which is why i want to pursue masters.
I have a few extra-curricular achievements as well but not too noteworthy .

Hi everyone,
I need a brutal reality check. I am a 34-year-old Govt of India official with a Rotman (UofT) admit, but I am terrified of the financial implications. I am considering dropping Rotman to apply for ISB Round 3 or just keeping my current job.
Profile Snapshot
* Age: 34 | GMAT classic: [680 Score]
* Work Ex: ~9 Years in Govt of India (Income Tax Dept & CAG).
* Current: Office Superintendent, Income Tax (Tax Evasion/Audit for MNCs).
* Previous: Divisional Accountant, CAG (Managed ₹10 Cr budget, Election Expenditure Observer).
* Goal: Strategy Consulting (MBB/Tier 2).
Why I am Afraid of the Rotman Offer
Despite the admit, I am close to declining because:
* The Debt Trap: As an international student, the loan burden is massive. At 34, taking on that level of debt in a high-interest environment feels reckless.
* Canadian Reality: I keep hearing about the cooling job market, high cost of living, and high taxes in Canada. I fear graduating with huge debt and struggling to save anything substantial compared to my current stable life in India.
* Opportunity Cost: Two years out of the workforce + debt seems like a poor ROI compared to a 1-year Indian MBA (ISB) or even sticking to my government career.
My Questions to the Community
* The Rotman Reality: What is life really like post-Rotman for an international student? Is the "high salary" eaten up by taxes and loan repayments, leaving me worse off than in India?
* Stay vs. Go: Given my age and stable government job, does it make more sense to reject Rotman, stay in my current role, and only target Indian schools (ISB/IIMs) where the financial risk is lower?
* ISB Round 3: Is applying to ISB in Round 3 a waste of time for someone with my profile, or do I have a fighting chance?
Thanks for the honest advice.

Guys
I m reaching out here to ask which material or course worked for you guys and would love to know abt that.

I am not an avid reader and english language skills are also average, good for regular conversation.
In the past i had purchased a course, but the platform content delivery sucked for me to continue on it. Content was fairly average i presume, i must not deny that it gave me some clarity but still GMAT Verbal didnt click through that.

I am a working professional with timing 7 am to 7 pm.

For now i have few options
1. continue with that since i already used it (e-gmat)
2. gmatwhiz: i found their prethinking module with more frameworks, which clicked better but still not sure abt them.
3. TTP: i watched few verbal videos from gmatclub yt, found the logic of few to be not so intuitive as a non-native english (self based out of india).
4. private tutor: i tried a demo class, found it alright but the process of teaching, sending my write up through whatsapp and only following og gmat material n no other thing. i think they can correct me personally where i am going wrong but lack of online reviews and website is also sketchy. all the students are shown 750 score.
cost wise: 1/2 are similar. 3/4 are very expensive.
timeline for prep: 2-3 months.
current level: 545 in some mock.

i would greately appretiate any feedback and resources from the viewers end if applicable.
in case if any tutor/person feels they can guide me or something i am happy to recieve the dm.
