Congrats! you have an interesting list of schools you applied to, how come you did Booth (top 5), and nothing else in the Top 15?

Awfully quiet here! No invite yet. Will check again tomorrow! Do we know whether dings and invites flow simultaneously or everyone not invited gets a default ding in the end? I read on the thread that it could be a FIFO system. Can someone from R1 confirm this?

Really good point. I submitted my app a few days early (I think on 12/31), so maybe that's why I heard back so soon.

i submitted on the 27th dec but nothing yet..someone who submitted on the last day also got an invite so i think its pretty random.

I went back and verified what happened during R1. The invites are sent randomly, Booth does not follow any specific pattern. All dings were sent out on the last day and so were majority of the invites. So we just have to wait patiently and bid our time. Good luck to all (including me)! :D

Congrats on the invites. Would they send an email if we are invited or should we have to login and check the application system? An email would be nice.

As another data point, got an email from Booth around 915 Chicago time telling me my application status had been updated -- got the interview invite. My application was submitted on the deadline day.
