LOL yeah, kind of. Mainly im very risk aversion and i decided that im ok with sticker price only if admitted to one of the Magic 7 and booth is my best fit.ALSO for that reason I didnt apply any schools ranking ～10-15.
All other schools have proven to be very generous based on my research~and hope for some good $$$ :-D :-D

That was smart and extremely well thought off. I am of the same mindset as yours but evidently I haven't done my homework enough. I should have also applied to schools from the "lower ranked but extremely generous?" category.

Schools ranked top 10-15 are generous too though. I have a below average GPA and high GMAT, and got good money from UCLA.

from my understanding they send invites every morning throughout the week and the majority of invites came out on the last day. so I wouldn't be discouraged just yet. good luck!

that makes sense. i'm guessing that they invite the superstars throughout the week right as they see them, all the while ranking the other candidates, and then at the end of the week, invite the leftover people in rank-order until they meet their interview percentage goal.

honestly i dont even know and i am not sure. I am discouraged after my ding at HBS. yale invites are also going through and nothing. Booth invites also gone through. NYU also looks dicy...the only option i have is fuqua as i interviewed during the open interview process...i am hopeful as far as fuqua is concerned but at this point i am not certain about anything...

Any disadvantage if I select to interview off campus with an alumni? I live in PA and visited the school before... But I think if you go on campus and attend the Super Saturday they will remember you more?

Regarding the flow of invites from 9 AM CST today (10th Feb), would be know about dings on Friday (the 14th), or would they be released along with invites?

Dings are typically released on the last day of the invite window. Invites are released in no particular order. When you submitted has NO bearing on when you get your invite. Try not to look for patterns that aren't there. Best of luck to you all.
