There are many benefits to timing your practice, including:
1) Has anyone who applied to Stern through Consortium heard anything? 2) Has anyone created a log-in to track their application status on NYU Stern's portal ? It shows my application status as 'started' instead of submitted, unlike other schools I applied to via consortium.

I haven't anything at all from Stern. Yale told me my application was complete and I should check for updates on their site. From reading last year's thread, it seems Stern is one of the later schools. I think they have the largest amount of applications in all of Consortium so I understand.

I just submtted my application and definitely feel lackluster about spending $75 for a shot at $2500, but I hear good things about the network.
A part of me wonders though since Catapult is open to anyone who qualifies as a minority with an interest in finance what additional benefits the application provides- any one familiar?

Toigo and MLT are both useful, but not for the money. The network and connections are fantastic. A lot of those folks have summer internship offers before the first day of classes, and at some really good companies.
I finally got an email from Stern saying they received my app. No update on interview though.

I got invited to interview at UCLA and Ross. I have heard nothing from Haas and UNC not even a correspondence about receiving my application. Darden and Yale told me that they received my app but I have not gotten an interview yet. I do not think I am getting a Yale interview, but I am still hoping/praying for Darden. Has anybody heard anything from Darden, UNC, or Haas?
Darden processed my application on the 16th, and I received an interview invite on the 19th. It seems from posts in the Darden GMATClub that interview invites weren't expected to go out until later, so there may be more invites added.

I received my Darden invite on Monday (1/22). I applied to Yale as well and have not yet heard -- may I ask why you don't think you'll receive an invite to Yale? Feel free to not answer if that's prying, just curious.
Honestly my Yale app was pretty weak compared to my other apps and I don't think I have the stats they want but I could be wrong. Also I feel I will be disappointed if I don't get a Darden interview because I definitely feel that it was my strongest app. However who knows what these admission officers are looking for, because I got a UCLA interview and I thought I just did ok on that one. sangfroid
