First message on this board - I thought some of the posts here were really helpful for GMAT preparation and in researching schools to apply to... so thanks for everyone contributing!
I was accepted last Monday, and still don't have my PID today. I emailed Admissions and they said you could use your birthday (MM/DD/YYYY) in lieu of your PID to submit the deposit. I still don't have access to the admitted students website, I just have the online page that begins: "Your PID is: . Or you can locate your PID here. If you do not see your PID number, please check again in a few days. If your PID does not appear within five business days of your official admission, please contact the admissions office at apply@gsb.columbia.edu."
So, if you want to submit your deposit now and maybe speed things up, just use your birthday instead of the PID for now. The email from the CBS admissions staff said this: "Thank you for your email and welcome to the Class of 2018! As a recent admit your PID may take some time for the University to create. You should use your Date of Birth (DOB: MM/DD/YYYY) in its place for the meantime. You will be able to use your Payment ID/PID for future payments to the University."

I was the same day admit as you, and just today I saw my PID was updated (I did not receive an email). Still no word on new admit login info, but they have received my initial deposit.
Anyone know how the new admit login information process works?

Hello all!
Fellow admit here with a quick question.
For everyone admitted has anyone received scholarship information or does anyone have any insight into when it will happen? I know that it is on a rolling basis but do they wait until they have received all the candidates from before 1/5 (merit deadline)?
Any commentary would be much appreciated!! Thanks!
