R1 candidates - does INSEAD release final decisions prior to the stated decision date?

Yes. I got mine about 2 weeks earlier.

Did anyone receive confirmation for an interview but not the alumni names?

The ones who have received the interview calls, can you kindly guide, what should be the target GMAT score to apply for INSEAD. Is 720 enough ?

I’d say 720 is good but a balanced score matters. At least 70 percentile in each section is what they typically advise

from my talks with alumni, I have heard that a score of 700+ puts you in the game, you will have to line up your application accordingly to get further

generally speaking, a GMAT score in the 710 neighborhood is considered competitive for INSEAD (710 is the average score of the class).

But it depends a lot on your demographic group. For example, many applicants from over-represented nationalities (e.g. Indians, Chinese) tend to score at least 730-740. In contrast, applicants from under-represented nationalities (e.g. African and Latin American countries) can be accepted with much lower scores.

In any case, it all comes down to the overall strength of your profile and the application you submit. For example, in my experience, an Indian or Chinese applicant with a strong profile and a kick-ass application could perfectly be accepted with a 680-710 score, or even lower.
