My 4:

1)tell me about a time you had to deliver bad news. What was your strategy
2)why do you stand out compared with other candidates
3)tell me about a time there was an argument due to different culture. How did this make you feel (i don't remember it exactly)
4) forgot...

I feel I performed poorly in the video interviews. There was a sense of nervousness and I believe the admissions committee would clearly be able to judge that and it's definitely not something they would want in a candidate.
Could someone please clarify how much would it affect my chances in the initial shortlists and the final conversion. Haven't been able to keep a calm head ever since I submitted the questions.

Please don't stress; they have stated this is to give them a reason to include a candidate that might not have come across well on paper, not to exclude people based on this alone. Everyone is in the same boat and even though it is unfortunate, many do not prepare for these so your experience is quite common.

BIG THANKS to all of you who sent over your video interview questions; I will compile these and update the list.
Good luck and take action to keep your mind off things. Work on another app - if even just to distract yourself from worrying (which will not increase your chances.) CONGRATS on submitting this beast of an app.

Sending you successful vibes Hideto, you seem like such a kind and supportive person anybody would be lucky to have you on their learning team. Crossing fingers for you.

Likeability is one of the most important criteria and I think you have that going for you.

Hi Farrell,

Wow thanks for the vote of confidence! I am glad to hear these kind words from you since you have had experience with a myriad of MBA hopefuls and your continued input on the forum has been immensely helpful for me.

I read about the change in word limit for the "Future career goals" essay question from "short answer" to 100 and I must say most of us 20J applicants are very thankful that the change happened after our applications! My own essay was 300 words! Hopefully you will be able to tide through this tough change with the candidates that you are working with. However, I am confident that you will do a great job like you always do for all your clients. Thanks again for helping us so much throughout this long application process!

Yes, I chose Fonty as preferred campus, but would also go to Singy if that's where they place me!

I want to do campus exchange, anyway :blushing

Would you start at Fonty too?

Yes fonty as home ground. I am Singaporean so will be doing P4 and P5 in Singapore if I do get in. Seems like our paths will be very similar. Let's catch up if we are both lucky enough to end up at Fonty!

This brings up an important point. Do your last period in the region you want to interview/work in.

So if you are aiming to work in Europe, start in Singy and if you are aiming for Southeast Asia start in Fonty.

September batchers can also end in Abu Dhabi if interested in MENA recruitment.

Good luck everyone! Round 1 admit here.

I my call on the Monday itself so fingers crossed you guys hear soon. However I should clarify that I specifically emailed and asked for an early Decision as I had a tight deadline with Cambridge Judge. There are plenty of people who got calls right uptil Friday, so don't lose hope!

Once you get the call, please DM me and I'll get someone to send over the link for the Telegram group. Cheers.
