Hi all, to those working on their scholarship forms, were you able to put in all of your previous roles in the "Personal Profile" page? Seems the page is only saving the first entry, then throws an error when I try to put in a previous role in the second line... I've already sent an email to the IT helpdesk but haven't received any response yet.

I too had faced an IT glitch in the process. Wrote to IT helpdesk and didn't hear back. Then wrote back to my AO. she forwarded the issue to the IT helpdesk and they responded within a day.
So I;d suggest you to do the same. Write to the person who sent you the scholarship mail and he/she will get the IT team to act on it.

You don't have to say something new. The scholarship evaluation and application evaluation is separate. I wrote pretty much the same things in the scholarship essays and got a scholarship too.

Hi nishantd88,

May I check how you ascertained that the scholarship application and mba entry application is separate? I tried searching around but was unable to find a source for confirmation.

Just thought it is important to confirm that they are indeed separate since it will be detrimental to one’s scholarship application if we were to repeat ourselves thinking that the reviewer is not looking at our application essays when they are reviewing it as a collective.

Please do advise on this. Cheers!

I did some digging around and turns out that neither admissions essays nor GMAT scores are taken into consideration. It’s mentioned at the following link towards the bottom of the page:

Is anyone applying for the Diversity scholarships? A salary statement from the employer is required, but what if I don’t want my employer to know I’m applying? Would bank statements showing my salary credit suffice?

Hi Ayersrock,

Based on my understanding, they are not asking you to get your employer to declare and confirm your salary (with signature etc). They are actually asking for documents like electronic payslips from recent months confirming your monthly salary. Is there a way for you to get such a proof of remuneration without having to inform your current employer? For me, it is available on the company's intranet.

Someone please correct me if I am wrong. Cheers!

ayersrock

I agree with Hideto The pay statement from the company should suffice and I believe you can get that from your intranet. These payslips are used for a number of purposes like getting a credit card, house rental agreement etc so you don't need to worry about the company getting to know your intentions.

Confirming what others said; no need to disclose things to your employer.

I've been trying to submit my application for the diversity scholarship for a while now and the system doesn't log my application, just takes me back to the homepage after I press submit. Has anyone else had this? I’ve emailed them but the deadline is tomorrow :/

Hey I had the same problem, you have to fill in "n/a" or anything appropriate for those optional essays. You just have to make sure you fill in every blank box.
I hope it helps.
