As per my knowledge the schrshp awarded by Babson has ranged from 60,000 USD to 0 USD. But the upper limit may b more since I am not in contact with all the admitted students.

Can someone please post the total expenses for the entire two year period including tuition, books, living, international trips, other miscellaneous expenses, etc. I am aware of the figures available on the website, but it would really help if someone has received an admit/paid the deposit/applied for the i20 and has the official total figure from Babson.

i have recevd admit and have financial doc infront of me.

cost of first 9 months 92108usd(includind tuition housing food books personal transportatn health )+ rest 3 mnths they sat avg will b abt 7500 usd+ 68062 usd for second year(includind tuition housing food books personal transportatn health)
total is 167670 usd for the 2 yrs

now if interested in elective abroad that will cost between 3000-6950 usd and a semester abroad will cost between 7800-12800 usd.

Hey thanks Kushal. I really appreciate you explaining the total expenses in detail.

So let me just summarize this and you can confirm if it is correct:
1st Year: $92,108
3 Months Between 1st & 2nd Year: $7500
2nd Year: $68062
Total Cost = $167670

If one opts for an elective abroad or a semester abroad, the cost can range from $3000 to $12800.

This brings the total cost between $170K and $180K.

From the total cost of 170K-180K, you can deduct:
a) Scholarship/Fellowship
b) Graduate Assistantship
c) Internship Stipend

Is my understanding correct?
Secondly, can you please confirm whether the semester/elective abroad is compulsory for international students?
If you don't take the semester/elective abroad, then do you pay anything extra for completing your elective/semester at Babson?

*The total cost will be 167670 for the 21 month program. This is approx amount rest it will depend on your life style.
*Elective abroad or semester abroad is not compulsory. Its up to you.
*No you don't have to pay anything extra to Babson.
*For each elective abroad add approx 2500 USD(it is for prgram fee and airfare; rest everything included in the above amount) and for a semester abroad add about 1500 usd(it is for the airfare; rest everything already included)

So the bottom line is the total expense will be around 171000 including one elective and one semester abroad but you never know about miscellaneous expenses that might come up so I think it will a good idea to prepare atleast 175000 usd. rest it will depend on scholarship, GA and internship.
