any hope for people still on the wait list since R1 after interview.

Yes there is. I know a current student at Booth who was waitlisted in round 1 and got in in round 3

wasn’t it 23rd May? And either way, Adcom does not release the results early. They do not like being asked about this as well

Hi all,
Posting a Visa question here as I didn't find any alternate better forum. Hope someone can help!

I have an option of applying for an F2 Visa with my Spouse who is applying for an F1 Visa ( Admitted to Wharton). I also have a chance to get into a great Univ as I am waitlisted at 2(Booth, Stern) and my decisions will be announced by around mid-end May.

Should I apply for F2 Visa now and convert it later into F1 or wait to get clarity on admissions and directly go for an F1 visa next month? I'm concerned that if I wait for May end, could it be too a bit too rushed and risky to leave only about 1.5 months for my visa process ( Considering an improbably but possible rejection related delay too)?

I would wait for clarity on admit and then go for stamping on F1. F2 visa you can secure at any point. If you are worried it would be too late, you can secure an i20 from others schools and get F1 stamped, at a later point you can transfer your SEVIS

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the chances of getting off the waitlist are traditionally quite low, and this year there is a lot of people on the waitlist. So I think it would be better to advance as though you are not admitted. I hope your doing your best to get off the waitlist for each of those schools, engaging in things that remedy weaknesses and differentiate you

Does anyone else’s profile still say “submit your interview video” under next steps even though you have?
