Our goal for interviewed applicants is to render a final decision within two weeks of the interview report being completed. It is our goal that all reviews are within these timelines. Regarding the interview, it is two weeks from when the interviewer has submitted the interview feedback, not the date of the interview, so applicants should keep that in mind as well. Good point. Either way, I'll wait until such a change actually happens.

Why you submit the RD this early? Anyway the deadline is in Oct, and it is not the rolling basis..

It made the most sense to put it in now since I have other R1 applications due throughout September and I will be away on business in October.

Can it be submitted just a week before ED deadline (7th Oct) and still get the decision on rolling basis within 6 weeks as CBS says?

Given your stats and impressive writing ability, are you considering applying for other top schools (i.e. Harvard/Stanford/Wharton/Booth)?

I would consider Harvard and Wharton if I am not accepted to Columbia. But CBS is my clear first choice, so hopefully I won't have to worry about applying anywhere else.
