Same here--had a great interview this morning, now hoping for the best.
Good luck to everyone else interviewing!
Any advice on the interview? Or are you able to high-level share some of the questions you received?
Maybe I can help by sharing my own experience briefly:
My interview was with a young alum in a different industry than my current and my post-mba field. It was super relaxed and conversational. The main questions are exactly what you read everywhere else. Make sure you can answer the following well by bringing examples. Also be prepared to discuss detailed follow-up questions.
- Tell me about yourself/walk me through your resume
- Future career goals
- Why MBA? Why now? Why CBS? Why NYC?
- tell me about a time you had to deal with an ethical situation
- have a few teamwork/leadership/challenge stories in your mind
- be prepared to discuss why you made certain decisions: move some place/change jobs/stay at one place for too long /past education and current career choice
- be prepared to discuss your extracurricular activities/passions/interests
- and of course show enthusiasm and deep knowledge of the school/program/culture.
Good Luck!
