Same - I submitted on 10-6 and haven't heard anything either

Weird. I wonder if there is something about the 10/6 date. haha.

I called them today and Susan from ADcom told me that we should not expect to hear back before January now. Chances are minimum.. sigh

I see that you have a Wharton Admit, is CBS still in the race or are you pretty clear on matriculating at Wharton?

She said your chances for an interview are minimum or chances of hearing back before January are?

They would never say that chances are minimum... she just said you will hear in 2 weeks. Honestly, I do think that it means no chances at all..lol

has anyone RD received an email that their 6-week review process has begun? I submitted my application on 11/2 and never received that email. Anyone else experiencing this?

I applied RD on 11/09 and haven't heard a peep yet... wasn't expecting it to take this long, but now looks like it won't be until Jan.

Does anybody know whether CBS accepts Skype interviews with those international applicants who can't travel to US?

Columbia does not give skype interviews. There is no requirement for you to fly to US for your Columbia interviews. You can select off campus interview that will be conducted by one of Columbia alumni in your area.

Same here.

Application Submitted: 11/1
Dinged: 12/22

I am shocked beyond words. I really put a lot of thought and effort into the application (more so than for Haas, which I got into) and really did think I had a chance. I'm really regretting not taking the ED option right now.

For those who applied in late Oct/early Nov and have heard back, did you receive the e-mail others have mentioned saying that your app is in the cue for review? Just curious as I never received that e-mail.

Just a heads up for anyone who hasn't received any emails from CBS - I haven't gotten a single email from them (even in spam) and one of my recommenders had mentioned problems getting his login instructions after I sent it to him 3x. Since I submitted on 11/7 and was past the 6 weeks, I decided just to log into the CBS portal this morning. There was my interview invite...who knows how long it's been there.

I'm guessing CBS emails for some could be going to spam or getting blocked. So just check your app status online! Good luck!
