I applied on 19th Nov. As per last year thread this is the week for us. Although, some people even say end of Dec!! Not sure what is going to be the day.

I applied on 19th Nov. As per last year thread this is the week for us. Although, some people even say end of Dec!! Not sure what is going to be the day.

I just checked the Clear Admit Live Wire and it seems that there were a few people invited to interview that applied on October 7th and 9th. All the other updates were ED admits/dings. So they are still working on ED, which probably explains the pace.

That probably means the app volume this year is higher than the same period last year. We need to wait for a longer time.

My interview feedback was submitted before yours.. I am pretty nervous now. Columbia is my only option..

Would you mind sharing your profile a bit more? How many years did you work as an MBB consultant in Brazil and any reason you can think of for rejection? Your stats seem to be better than mine, but then your stats seem to be better than most people admitted to CBS..

Don't lose hope here - I had to wait 2 weeks for a final decision...two terrible weeks. But it worked out in the end for me.

Welcome. Have/had a few theories (2 weeks gave me plenty of time for speculation), but they are all assumptions really. My interviewer told me that after submitting feedback, the rest of the process is a "black box" and she had no idea how long it could take. I think the larger workload is a factor for sure; maybe the person who is in charge of your application is swamped with other work? I'm also a little older than most candidates so I thought they might offer me admission into EMBA instead, so they discussed that for a while? Who knows...They do say 2 weeks after feedback is submitted, so I think the longer wait times are to be expected. From following here, it seems the rejections come quickly - 2-4 days after submission, where as some acceptances can take some time.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts! I can't imagine waiting for 2 weeks... but I suppose as long as it's acceptance, I will be fine with it. The worst is a long wait followed by rejection; I hope they will send out rejections quickly just like you observed.

My application was completed on 10/6 and I have absolutely nothing from CBS, even though I have crossed the 4 week mark.

I know I still have a little less than 2 weeks but this is driving me crazy. The next two weeks are short weeks anyways!
