Ahaaaa finally some forward progress...congrats!

bSchool2018, I work as an MBB consultant for almost 4 years. Difficult to say why I got rejected. But not applying in early decision does influence a lot the final result, I guess. Some of my colleagues (from the Brazilian office where I work) applied in early decision and got approved. So, when it was my time, there were already several people with similar background as mine already matriculated. This decreases the chances a lot. The MBA application is not just about stats. It's very subjective and the schools want to fulfill their classes with a variety of people that covers different backgrounds. I got disappointed with this rejection, but that's life.

Hi guys, My application is almost complete, and I'll be applying very close to the Jan deadline. I seem to be the only one on this group who is applying despite being a college senior, but I think I have a very good reason why I want to do an MBA at this stage, especially at CBS. I believe my GPA (8/10 after graduating from a very challenging institute and course) and GMAT are not outstanding compared to the others from my demographic, but seems to be good enough compared to the average CBS profile. Overall, even if I get an interview call I'd be delighted and it would give me a confidence boost that I'm heading in the right path. I'm just checking in to see if there are any other college seniors who have already applied and if yes, the feedback they've received. Congrats to the applicants who have already received an invite.

Quick question, I just submitted my application earlier this week , and I notice a grammatical error. When I changed plan to goals, I forgot to change the verb. Should that be concern about that? cause all the adcom will see is "goals was" .
