Our goal for interviewed applicants is to render a final decision within two weeks of the interview report being completed. It is our goal that all reviews are within these timelines. The admissions office was not closed yesterday as it was an academic holiday. today though is a university holiday so adcom wont be in.

Do not despair - I got the call exactly 2 weeks after my feedback was submitted. I too was freaking out because others heard back before me with later interviews, but the timelines are not set. Stay positive.

I would say the same, be cool. I was feeling stressed because people that had their feedback submitted as late as 5 business days after me got the acceptance call before me, but here I am. :-D

FAQs on the admissions website say they start reviewing RD applications in November, but then on the Review Process page it says they don't start reviewing until December 1st...

Has anybody on RD received an interview invite so far? When should we expect these invites?

I would assume the latter is correct, only because I think it is more likely that they did not update the FAQs as opposed to the Review Process page. Also, the first instance I could find in last years of an RD candidate getting an interview was Dec. 3. If anyone has info otherwise, would be interested to hear.

Has anybody on RD received an interview invite so far? When should we expect these invites?

I think they will not start RD until they finish ED and J-Term. Since the last ED decisions were submitted by October 7th. We can expect the FIRST RD DECISION made by December 31st (most likely several weeks before that) due to the fact that all ED decision should be made by November 18th and they say that the typical application lifecycle is less than 6 weeks.

That's just my educated guess though.

I don't want to be a downer, but realistically, I feel like it's over for ED. It's gone well beyond the 21 days, so I think a ding is incoming.

I am from Hong Kong, completed my application on the 7th, and haven't heard a word from Adcom since. I aspire for a career in investment management, so Columbia is my first choice. I really want to get in. :cry:

Dings have been coming around 5-6 weeks for most of the cycle.
