Another year would just allow me to retake and score higher, possibly securing scholarship money along the way at other schools in another cycle. Just looking at the positives instead of the negatives to not make this weekend start bad haha. Haven't heard back from my other schools yet, but I tried my hardest on Booth, so I'm not too optimistic if a ding happens here.

May be that. However, what about oprtunity cost of one year? To be honest, I'd not want to waste another year but may be that's just me..

No. It doesn't work like that. You'd get specific mail for either the interview or the ding. I'd hope for the former than the latter.

I got my invitation for interview as well. Right at the moment I start to lose hope.

FYI, I am from Singapore, my GPA is relatively low 3.1, GMAT 720. WE 6 years at the top private bank in APAC. Post MBA goal to investment Management.
