Hi, does anyone know the EA score of successful J-Term applicant this year? Anyone accepted with 150 or 152 score? Thank you!

I attended one CBS information session, and one Admission staff said they are looking for 150 and above. Also, I remember someone from last year posting here that he got admitted with 150.

Do you know how long does usually people study on the EA to get 155+ score?

Just got my notification of acceptance! They tried calling me but couldn't get through so sent me an email. I completed my interview a little over a week ago and applied regular decision early October. Good luck to everyone still waiting to hear back!

I have my interview tomorrow, wondering if I’ll also hear in a week given that it’s the holidays right now. Hoping I don’t have to wait until mid Jan to hear back!

considering the rolling admissions at CBS, is it too late for somebody from overrepresented pool of applicants Indian/male/IIT to apply now? Is there any rough estimate of how many seats would already be filled by now

I don't know much about the application strategy for an overrepresented population, but FWIW, I'm enrolled for 2022 August entry, so am in the Slack group for our class. It appears that ED round makes up for 514 students already. I think CBS typically has ~ 750 students in an August class, so I'd imagine RD will likely be ~ 250 students.

The group is people that have paid the $6K deposit, so I'd imagine if there are any renegs, it would be far fewer than 60-80.
