Cornell has rolling admissions, but they will guarantee an admissions result on the 16th for anyone who interviewed before December 9th.

There are many reasons. They have a limited number of spaces. They might no be sure if they are going to accept someone, the second reader might be delayed, someone might be on PTO, they migh be slower to review than other AdComs in the same office. Remember each one has a stack of cases to review and report.

My post interview email was a pre written template from class of 2023 application cycle haha all the dates were wrong, and they didn’t even adress me. It just said hello “first name, last name”
