I was told it was okay to submit the application while waiting for the recommendation. So def submit so your app counts! I was not informed of any deadline or specific grace period for the recommendations

I could have got the waiver. I just needed proof of attending the session. That’s all. Unfortunately, with a heavy heart, I have paid 200 USD I am even attending a session tomorrow. BUt then the waiver would be appplied after 7 days and I’ll have to apply in 3rd round, which is impractical as an Indian

You could have used the screenshot of your email where you registered or could have just highlighted anyone who might be part of the session you attended. I would have been able to provide both but unfortunately, I was unware that we can get a waiver by simply emailing them. How weird of them though when we compare with other schools

Yes, this was definitely weird because they mentioned only AMAs would get waiver. Then later on in the automated emails they also mentioned information sessions Very unclear and most weird application portal as well. On the application portal itself there is no way to get a waiver but only by e-mail
