I think last year the results were announced very close to the deadline date. Dont know if this year they are going to follow the same trend. In my interview, john explicitly mentioned that they are on a rolling admission basis and therefore results will be declared very soon.

Yeah he told me the same, I was just looking at last year's forum to see if there was a specific day of the week where they were notified, but it is hard to tell if it was a certain day or not.

Hi Guys

I too got an admit with a decent scholarship (International Student, Location - India). I had my interview taken by John Roeder.

I had some questions in mind though.

1. How do you rate Cox when compared with schools such as ASU, Rice, Carlson?
2. Is it regional or Cox has a good name outside of Texas also?

Would be happy if I could get an in-depth review of the school in all aspects.

Ok. I too need some GA to cover up for my living expenses (at least in the second year). Lets see. I will talk to JR. They have launched something called 'india Scholars' as well. Priority will be given to those who apply by December 15 deadline. Need to ask about that as well. Rest, I guess Cox is a very good place to be at ! I don't know much about the international appeal though.

Hey gmattaker08. could you please shed some light on the GA roles available on campus? I heard that only second year students are entitled to take up such positions and that too after they prove their worth for the research carried out by the professors.
