Can the admitted students please tell whether they(adcom) call on the day before the decision date only if you have gotten a scholarship or do they call even if you've just got an admit with no scholarship?

They call on the day before - scholarship on the call but some might forgot so you have to ask (R1 this year)

If they follow R1 patten, I believe so. In my case, I was also notified for Batten Scholar interview and that all letters will come in portal
