Assuming the R1 numbers, and R2 numbers from last year, are a good proxy, there should be more to come.

In last year's thread, 18th Feb was the last day that invites were sent. Except for 1 student who received an invite on Mar 8th. Darden can be pretty random and erratic with invitations. Its also kinda my last glimmer of hope at a top school, after dukes rejection yesterday. :roll: :roll:

Well, if it makes anyone waiting for an invite feel better, last year's Gmatclub Darden R2 cohort saw at least 82 invites. This year, we're only at least 19.

So...plenty to come it would seem.

Darden just sent an "Upcoming Darden Events" e-mail. They should really avoid sending those e-mails during times like now when we're eagerly awaiting to hear back for interview invitations.
Great idea to send these notices, and great to promote ways to learn about the school...the timing is just totally off and throws every applicant who hasn't heard back in a loop.

I got an email from Darden asking me to take a closer look at their college.

It spoke a lot about the new dean, Scott Beardsley and other notable features about Darden as a business school. It also mentioned briefly that they had gone through my profile briefly.

Is that a positive indication?

Has anyone else got this mail?

I however, have still not received an interview call. :(

I too received a similar e mail on 21st Jan. I think the mail has gone out to all applicants and it has been personalized by mentioning 'your professional area of focus' which you would have ticked in your application.
