FROM Darden Admissions Blog: Darden Continues to Climb in the Rankings
The energy is high at Darden following last week’s release of The Economist ranking where Darden climbed to No. 2 among the Top 100 full-time international MBA programs – the highest in the School’s history. For the fifth consecutive year, Darden was also named the No. 1 education experience in the world.

Other specialty rankings from The Economist include:

  • 1 for “Personal Development and Education Experience”
  • 2 for “Student Rating of Faculty”

Darden continued its positive momentum this week with Bloomberg Businessweek and climbed to No.12 in their ranking of the top full-time MBA programs in the United States.

Has anyone heard back from the Jefferson Fellowship? They stated by late October but we are inching up to the end of the month.

Haven't heard anything, but it makes scheduling super hard. What are you going to do if two schools want you to interview the same weekend?

No idea. Considering the Jefferson Fellowship trip, if I am selected, is at least a free trip to be interviewed for admission and at best a full ride to the school plus other benefits, that will be hard to say no to. All other schools I am interviewing with aren't paying for airfare and hotel!

They will be paying? I cannot find any info about that....they only said selected candidates will be invited over for the selection weekend - which is bs because it is on Thursday and Friday but oh well.

Most schools say they "invite" you over for interview but I don't think any of them pays for anything.....unless this Jefferson thing is different.

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but, yes, the fellowship selection weekend is different in that I believe they pay for lodging and transportation to the selection weekend.

Really, no one else on here doing that Jefferson Fellowship thingamajigger? Guess I'm the default winner and champeen of the world.

Have you been contacted about it or was there a separate application/process to be considered? I thought all applicants were considered
I don't see myself getting it, but would have liked to apply in any case

Congrats to everyone with invites. And to those who haven't - Darden has a long drawn process. So you can get an invite anytime.

To those who have been invited - Do update your status for Darden to "Invited to Interview".
