Hi All,

I have received admission offer for full time MBA from Mcmaster University and Concordia University. As per some current students of Mcmaster, though Mcmaster is ranked higher than Concordia, full time MBA at Mcmaster is not that good and they give all their attention to co op students. I am really confused which one shoud I accept. Can anyone please help me with this.

I have been working at Canadian Tire Financial Services as a Fraud monitor specialist/Retail banking for almost one and a half year now. Is it acceptable for MBA Co-op?

Hey everyone! quick question about the kira interview. Once you receive the link is there a limited window of time you have to complete it? I'm currently working a full time job so if I were to receive my link on Monday, could I wait until Saturday to complete it for example? Also wondering if anyone knows the approximate intake dates over the next few months. Thanks!

I found the following on the DeGroote website. Is that something that applies to you? Otherwsie, you can reach out to them online here or through the phone at 905-525-9140 ext. 27024. Their office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on weekdays.

If you graduated from a North American university, you don’t need work experience to apply. You get the experience you need while completing your degree.

Yeah, that's surprising. Now I'm worried too. Did you not do so well in the co-op interview? That is the only reason I can see for them not admitting you into the Co-op program.

Can you please explain what factors are involved for the school to select a candidate for Full time and Co-op?? Also I was told Co-op is for people with relatively less experience only. Please provide some information on which one is better.

Also you applied for only Full Time? Do they decide whether to put the candidate into Full time or Co-op?

Hi All,

I applied to the Degroote FT MBA on 20th December 2018 and received an offer on 18th Jan 2019. Other than the KIRA interviews, there was a short 15 minute skype interview on 7th Jan before I received the offer.

6 years experience in the Oil and Gas Industry, GMAT 640, B.Eng degree in Mechanical Engineering.

12.21 got kira[finish in 5 days]

1.23 1st interview by admissions office

2.5 got offer

PS: I got two skype interviews, each nearly 20min
