I was interviewed in February, post the WL decision announced in December. I received an update last week on the portal that I am still on the WL. No update since then.

Yes they sent that out to everyone. I think it's going to be the same thing they did before the R2 decisions for people who were waitlisted in R1

I would submit a meaningful update ASAP. Usually its 2 weeks before the decision date. I don't think they will look at an update that's submitted within a week before the decision release date. So submit an update before April 22nd to be considered for round 3 in my opinion.

If I were to join Fuqua this year, I would have 4 years of work experience at the time of matriculation.

This admissions season hasn't been kind to me at all. Applied to 8 schools, got waitlisted at 5 (now 4 waitlists, got off the Fuqua waitlist on the wrong side), dinged at 3 (now 4 dings)

Anyways, I am kind of mentally prepared to do it again. It's already late, and I don't know how I am going to manage finances, move to a new country in a span of couple of months if I get an acceptance this year.

I was rejected off of the R2 waitlist at the R3 decision date. I had a month between these timeframes, and I realize now that I should have submitted something to show that I wanted to attend Duke, but I thought I would have a bit more time to re-take my GMAT and perhaps obtain another letter of recommendation. Oh well, perhaps I'll try again in the fall.

Sometimes is a matter of getting maturity on your application. Your GMAT is good, now that this is done you will have more time to enhance your profile in terms of leadership, sharp your essays, understand better your post MBA goals...
