EA round wait listed applicants - Did any of you submit an update through the wait list update form? I submitted but haven't received any acknowledgement. Is this normal?

Yeah, I think that's normal. I was on the EA waitlist and sent a waitlist update on November 4th. I was invited to interview along with R1 folks. Now fingers crossed for decision.
Did you get waitlisted after interview?

Any idea how many people end up on the waitlist at Fuqua every year?

"Not that many" is what I have heard. Did you get waitlisted after Early Action or after Round 1?
Did you interview at Fuqua already? Another thing I heard via an information session is that Fuqua typically does want to interview people on the WL.

I was put on the waitlist without interview in the Early Action Round. I was invited to interview along with Round 1 applicants.
However, I didn't get a status update email on R1 decision date. This confused me a lot as I stayed up all night hoping for either an accept or a reject. I even called the admissions office helpline for clarification, but they couldn't tell me anything.

After agonizing over the weekend, I went back and read all the emails and links that Fuqua had shared. Finally got to the relevant information:
"On the decision release date for each round, you will be informed if you are admitted, and if not, your status will remain waitlisted. As such, please be sure to keep us informed of any changes in your contact information."

So seems like Fuqua doesn't deny anyone directly from the waitlist.
