FYI, a lot of people in the group might be current 1st/2nd year Fuqua students (probably there to connect with fresh admits/help answer questions) so I wouldn't read too much into the overall size of the facebook group.

Yea agree with Chanda here - I'd say 50% of those are admissions ambassadors and fellows.

Fuqua isn't one of those schools that converts a lot of the WL, but it does happen. All about showing Fuqua is your top school - this coming from a reapplicant

Exactly, thats why I counted seperating those members. and came up with a 400ish out of 500 Number. .

Wouldn't think too much about the size of the FB group. Many, many of those members are current students.

I don't have statistics on WL conversion, but I can count at least 10 in my cohort section who I know made it into the class off the WL. Some of them were finding out as late as July, as well. Lots of time left!

My app status fro R2 shows "Not invited". And the letter says "It is possible that you would be invited to interview at a later stage in this round or in future rounds". Does it mean WL or Denied ?

Just curious, did any waitlisted applicants that had already interviewed in R1 receive an interview invite last night? I'm wondering if re-interviewing is common or if this is just some sort of weird portal glitch?

Hi.
I am wondering how does Duke inform students of their WL status? Do all those who are not invited to the interview are considered WL or do Duke update their status to WL or Rejected on the decision day?

I will appreciate your help in clearing that out.

Doubtful. It doesn't look like any one has posted on Clear Admit. Following last year's results, they accept a small number from the WL at the same time they post decisions for the round. So, I don't expect anyone will hear back until at least March 15th, maybe a day sooner. Best of luck!

I sent an update in early February and received a confirm email a few days later.

Anyone have any thoughts on the odds of scholarship funding for waitlisted applicants? Something tells me this is pretty rare.
