Wait listed with a note stating that I will be interviewed next round before a final decision is made on my candidacy. Anyone else get this response?

International applicants may apply in R1 or R2 in order to have time for the visa. If I am waitlisted in R2, does it mean it is impossible for me to be accepted then?

My waitlist letter does not mention interviewing next round. It only says that they will review applications of waitlist candidates during the summer.

Same question here, if we were admitted from WL as late as May or June, it's unlikely to get a visa in such short time slot.

Also, I would assume that students admitted form WL would not get any scholarship?

Hey guys, I got waitlisted as well. I'm staying hopeful as I met a bunch of admissions ambassadors who got admitted off of the waitlist when I interviewed in Durham.

Good luck to everyone else who got waitlisted. I hope we all get in!

I've read about people that got scholarship from WL, but I think that although it is possible the chances are low.

Hi All,
I was waitlisted after interview in Round 1. I was wondering what steps you guys are taking to get off the waitlist. Did anyone receive any specific feedback on the candidacy through any communication? Did someone connect with students at Fuqua who managed to successfully get off the waitlist previously?

Also, is there a whatsapp group for waitlisted candidates?

Thanks,
Piyush

Hi everyone, do we think the R3 decisions will be on Monday 4/30 or Tuesday 5/1? Also, how many people do we think will get accepted off the waitlist with R3 decisions vs. waitlisted still or rejected? Finally, similar question to Piyush's, are there any active chats for waitlisted candidates?

Was thinking the same thing and it is weird nothing has been posted.

Still waitlisted here. I checked the portal and there are no new updates. If we are still on the waitlist after today, what happens next?

I called admissions last week because I didn't get an update on May 1st. Applied R2, still on the waitlist. They said they would assign waitlist counselors first week of June. I suspect they may admit a couple more people before then and after R3 deposit deadline and/ or the R3 waitlist acceptance deadline, though I am not sure when those are exactly, I think mid-May.
