Hey, how much HBS does wait diversity of the class? Do they focus on citizenship / nationality or ethnicity? I may be wrong but I have the impression that top schools like HBS / Stanford ... do weight diversity when average schools will be obsessed with the GMAT score. I am right?

Everyone weights diversity
It’s a priority for most schools and they direct a lot of scholarhips for diversity efforts
And most schools genuinely don’t obsess with the GMAT score.
I dont think all are 330+ to be honest. I saw lower scores on clear admit. Also am also within same GRE range and haven’t gotten an invite

Yeah. These types of 330+ GRE claims clearly cannot be true given not a single school has an average 330+ GRE. I don’t understand why people keep making these statements.

I kinda agree to this...last year my friend with GRE 325 got an admit from Harvard...we come from ORM demographics and it was unthinkable (at least that’s what we thought) but overtime we were surprised to see many such stories. But these schools have a way to maintain their averages (after all that goes into their rankings too)

I wrote six draft- I ran the first few by alums who provided me with feedback. I would then let it sit for 1-2 days before coming back to it and would usually have a fresh perspective and make further changes.
From what I’ve heard from attending different webinars, most admissions teams say that there’s no harm in sending updates about professional updates, etc. through a mail. They might read it or they might not. It has no negative impact, it could even improve chances if it’s a favourable update for you.
